Nah... wait until the first chav loses his hat, and the trains will all of a sudden feature a lot of blood. From what I've heard about Thorpe's maintainance, it will stay there until next time it rains too.

And the scenario Ollie describes... well, how bad is the crime rate at Thorpe? It may be reality one day, you know...

I like the trains. I think the bar at the front will help to give a feeling of being trapped, though it might impair vision of the headchoppers on the drop.

if im absolutly honest, i preferd the other picture of the train. If it was an identical train to that but with the colour scheme of the actual saw train, i think it would look abit better. Im not sure about the front of the car, i dont like the fact its all flat.

I wonder when Thorpe will begin a TV advertising campaign? Most people I've talked to about haven't had a clue it's opening in a month and when I say it's Saw theme most people seem pretty excited.

It makes you wonder if they will, they had one for Colossus, Nemesis Inferno, Stealth and Vortex, Zodiac and Detonator together, so I'm suprised if they don't advertise Saw!

They will probably start to do it now.. a nice little campaign a month before to generate buzz. Do it TOO early, people will forget.

Well at the moment, Saw the ride has done extremely well with viral marketing. It's been in the newspapers too. Hell, it doesn't really need anymore advertising than it already has.

When they stopped the virals bout 2/3 months ago?

Haven't seen anything in the papers...

*shrugs*

Shows how little there is to talk about when we start discussing the adverts

I can imagine it'll all start proper Friday...

There's a new update on the Saw: The Ride blog

http://sawtheride.com/blog/

Doesn't say that much really. In a nutshell, the snow hasn't stopped work much, and a lot of the interior theming has been done. It says "Atmospheric lighting is being installed and props are being put in place inside the station building". Hmmmm ...

Thanks for posting that! I hadn't seen that, looks damn awesome, but looks very short - Since oblivion Coasters seem to have been getting shorter and shorter - makes me sad :(
