(It's obviously not rust on plastic as some people have suggested. I just thought it was some kind of grime, what with it being a water ride and that)
Guess it will fit into Amity Cove better, but not sure I like it too much

It's because the chavs natural habitat is in grimy water. Whenever I see them at parks, they're queuing for water rides.
So, next year there will be 4 (or 5 if you count Depth Charge) water rides at Thorpe.
Which means that chavs will go on pillgrimages to ride "The Nemesis Inferno" and be generally abusive.

These things are actually quite fun, but it is going to look HORRENDUS in such a prominent position right infront of you as you enter the park.
It would be good somewhere like Lightwater... but at Thorpe? I was hoping they'd get rid of Depth Charge, not add another ****ing slide!

^^^ Although I also think it looks shoddy we should try and be fair when comparing those pictures Ollie posted.
One was taken on in nice bright Florida conditions, from an angle that hides most of the supports. The other was taken in Surrey, in early march, when the building vehicles tire tracks are still visable. It's a poor picture photo-quality wise.
My main question is, where's the canopy at the top of the lift? Did they loose it in the Atlantic somewhere?

Um. Yeah. It looks more out of place than I thought it would. And that's a lot. I've never ridden one of these before though and the experience is what really matters to me, so if it's fun then I won't be as bothered about what it looks like!
