Guitar Hero: World Tour has been using up most of my Wii related playing time this past week.
Soon to be Rock Band 2 when it comes out on the 12th in USA. (Thank God For Freeloader discs)
I'm mainly into games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band.

Does anyone know when 'Home' is due to be released?

Biggest Vapourware since Duke Nukem :p

Probably Christmas time in the States - 2011 in Europe :p

Got Eye of Judgement today when I was in town.

For £39.99 (cheaper than most PS3 games) I got:
- The game
- Playstation Eye Camera
- Camera stand
- Play mat
- Starter deck (30 game cards)
- 4 function cards
- Booster Deck (8 game cards)

I've been interested in it since first information came out about it and it really is pretty neat how the camera picks of the cards and turns it into a 3D battle on screen. I've only heard good things about it other than it takes a while to get how to play. But I'm quite looking forward to playing it now. :)

Anyone bought Manhunt 2? Its release seems to have slipped under the radar but it was released on Halloween.

I was in Game today about to buy it for Wii but after a quick discussion with the guy behind the till I decided against it because as I thought he said it had been cut to death, basically every kill that you do the camera points away.

He reckons that the 360 and PS3 versions should be the original version of the game and released early next year although don't know how true that is, can anyone confirm this?

If not I will probably just buy the cut Wii version.

^I can't help you I'm afraid. Try googling it.

Anyway. I only got a short go on Eye of Judgement this evening as it spent about 5 hours downloading and installing all the previous updates. And as it's been out for almost two years now there's been alot of new cards released so it had to update to accept all of them.
Got a couple of matches in. It's quite hard to get the hand of first of all, but after a short time you get into the flow of gameplay and can then start thinking about strategies ect.
The camera is very good quality. The cards pick up straight away and appear on screen. The stand is fun to assemble as it's like a giant kinder egg toy. It's easy to set up and fun. :p
The gameplay is good. And there's quite alot to take in such as where to position cards, what spells to use. All the different field types increasing and decreasing your monster's stats. But it's fun. Which is what games should be like.
I read the book in the case briefly telling you how to play and then skimmed through the video tutorial on the game that tells you everything so it's easy to take in and understand. The good thing about this is that you can skip all the bits you know and get to the section that you want to know more about.
Gameplay is easy. The turns move quite quickly so the pace is good and keeps the flow.
The graphics are also pretty good and it's cool seeing the monster you just summoned appear on screen in full 3D.
I haven't played online yet as I didn't have time. But the AI is pretty good and you can change the settings to suit your skill level.
So yeah so far it gets an 8/10, but this will probably increase as I'm not very good at it at the mo and I've only played about 3 matches. :)

Gah. I don't know what to do. I'm spending too much money now. I need to save for insurance and such for my car but keep spending it on games.
Right. I've decided. I'm not going to get CoD5 until after Christmas at least. Where hopefully it will be cheaper.

Pierre. Do you know if the price of itl at ASDA will be from launch? Or is it launch night only?

Call of Duty World at War, is an awesome game, i just wished that I had a faster computer so I didn't have to run it in a low resolution with all the extras turned off. :(
It would have made the experience more immense.

Of the missions in the game I really like the first you play on the Soviet campaign is really awesome.
But there are moments when you just goes GAHHH!! Especially when someone yells BANZAII!

It's a must play if you like the other games in the CoD series.

Actually you wont be getting CoD5 till way near next christmas or even after that as its not finished yet lol. Now CoD World at war maybe after xmas but it just doesnt hold my interest as much as CoD4 did. Anyways back to my point, Trayarc who are making this CoD have confirmed that this is not CoD5 but its own franchise, Infinity ward who have been busy with the 007 game have also confimed that they are making CoD5 so heres hoping they stick to the modern warfare thing and trayarc will be continuing there own little franchise of world at war so all is happy. Anyways got a crap load of games over the last week with it beeing my birthday and all so time for some thoughts.

Totally agree. It's the most fun I've had playing a game in a long time. There's something very very satisfying about dismembering, and because that's the main gameplay mechanic, it's a great ride.

Only halfway through, and it's not really scared me much so far. The hard-to-kill-ubt-I-wont-say-why-because-it-would-spoil-the-suprise baddies are intense though, especially the first time you meet them.

It's really quite cinematic too, lovely looking game, and the soundtrack is superb. Orchestrated chaos is an appropriate phrase, I think.

So far, 8/10!
