I've been playing through Modern Warfare 2 some more, I'm not done yet, but, let me say...

The single player story doesn't make any sense, BUT IT KICKS ASS. The Gulag mission is AMAZING.

Special Ops is AWESOME. So much fun <3

Completed Uncharted 2, total ****. I thought they could make the ending worse than the 1st game, but oh yes they made it worse.

Honest if they bring out a 3rd one that should get people in that can write a story and people that can improve game play.

I really do not see why people have raved about this game its that bad. I am worried about getting Modern Warfare 2 now tbh, that is raved about as well and I am worried I will hate it.

I don't get how you can dislike Uncharted 2 so much. You're the only person I know who doesn't think it's amazing. All they did was take what made the first game so amazing and make it bigger and better with a new story and characters to go with it. The story is actually very good, the script writing is amazing as the characters talk and interact in situations like you would in real life.
There's no super tough hero you play as you play as Nate who just end ups getting caught in the middle and has to try and survive and make it to the end.
Seriously I don't see any point in that game that's bad or can make you dislike it so much.
I know it's your opinion but I don't understand why you don't like it as you're the only person I know that thinks that.

I am not the only person, people at work dont think much of it either and other people I know dont rate it.

I liked the 1st game, but this is the same game play just with a different story and that is what I dont like. This lips do not even match up to what people are saying, its poor.

Dont get me wrong the building have amazing detail but thats all.

Anyway its done with now, never to be played again and this is the best part of the game.

^How can you complain it has a crap story? Arkham Asylum (though amazing) had a very **** story. Batman takes Joker back, Joker takes over the Asylum, Batman must stop him etc.

And why would they change any of the way you play in U2? It worked so well in the first one there's no point to change it in the second. Like I said they got rid of what didn't work so well from the first came took what worked well and improved upon that as a base for the second. It may not have had the same impact of the first one had as you've seen them do it before but it's hard to deny that everything in the second game has been improved and made much better. I don't miss the six-axis sections walking across logs at all from the first one.

Ollie I dont like it and nothing you can say is going to change my mind.

I liked Batman and the story was good, the game play was good and the effects were good. The part with the Scare Crow shocked me as I was not expecting that. Games have moved on since the 1st Uncharted and they have not moved on with the game play or graphics. I found the story very very boring and then they did not even seem to bother with it. Jump from building and shoot people, same every single level apart from the train and car but its all been done before and been done better. Even the end was so similar excepts this time they were not zombies, the whole game was just so the same as the 1st one but worse.

I dont like Uncharted 2 for the reasons I have given, please leave it your actually making me hate it more as I am having to look deep into why I dont like it.

Nate is after a treasure, lots of climing and bad guys in the way, also a few zombies/guardians... treasure turns out not to be a treasure at all (El Dorado turned people into zombies, the Cincimati Stone was the "Tree of Life"...

Everyone can look at a story with a narrow mind, and make it sound dull Ollie. Its the same when people bring up the "oh 22 men kicking a leather ball around a big green pitch" argument.

I wasn't that impressed with Uncharted 2, it didn't make enough leaps forward from the first, maybe thats their failing though, because the first was so good it had high expectations.

I'm certainly trading in once I have the platinum.

Not to mention, Uncharted is identical to the movie National Treasure. "Descendant of historical person looking for that person's hidden treasure that nobody found but they did."

Batman's story was cool. Just the Final Boss was shyte.

Dispite "No Russian" not being as bad as I expected it to be I still found the music to be really cool and fitting. And this post is just a longer way of saying "HEY I FOUND THE SOUNDTRACK ON YOUTUBE"

This would be tomorrow so it seems! :)

Also Kimahri, yes, cool fitting soundtrack indeed I approve.

Double quoting myself... hmmm... anyways, Cex are giving £29 cash for it at the moment, so I only lost out on £9 with it!

Got Beatles Rock Band today. Good times.

Already played most of the story (I think) and it's superb. Brilliant songs (though this is quite obvious) and excellent layout regarding the menus.

Thoroughly enjoying the game :D

I just finished Resident Evil 4 tonight. That was a ton of fun. It's been a long time since I've played through a video game (Mirror's Edge was the last and before that Red Steel), but this was pretty satisfying. I managed it in like 22 hours or something or another... a pretty good length for the few days of downtime I had to work with. I started the replay thing where you get to keep all your weapons from the last game. Then I sold them all and got the Chicago Typewriter gun with the unlimited ammo. It's kind of hilarious just how easy it is to plow through stuff now. I probably won't go through again, but in 2 hours I was able to get through most of the first big map. It's pretty awesome.

Completed Modern Warfare 2 on Veteran difficulty already. Much easier than I thought it was going to be. World at War was nigh on impossible but I got through this one pretty quickly. I think it's due to the fact there were less grenades and in WaW enemies kept re-spawning until you pushed forward.
Now got to get loads more stars in special ops to work closer towards the Platinum. This is going to be annoyingly hard.

Anyone who has MW2 on PC can now get dedcated servers. Apparently they managed to hack the Developers console and get them.

Hopefully some one can mod the heartbeat sensor to sound like the motion tracker from Aliens.

PS3 Firmware 3.1

Facebook integration is a lot better than I expected. I was under the assumption it would just be a link to a more user friendly site.

The coloured profiles are also a lot better than first thought. It could have looked an utter mess, but the fact that only one profile at a time has a full colour background makes it rather neat.

Great little update. :)

Yeah, great!

Facebook which we already have, but which can make your PS3 annoying on Facebook. And some colours.

Hey, let's put time and effort into the important things eh Sony? Universal voice comms and good online community? That's so X-Box six years ago, old hat, why do it? ;)
