I know they're limited but I'm not a fan of its location. From what I remember of Sea World, Kraken alone was already kind of 'out of the way' to ride. This may be even more so. BUT, thats just me, who visited the park once a number of years ago. I may be wrong.

I'm quite torn by the netting. Part of me quite likes the way it looks with the smooth twisting curves. On the other hand, it would probably look much better without it. :lol:

That section almost looks like a mouth from this angle. I wonder if they're adding anything to play up to that?

I like the netting (in the angle of the photo at the top of this page), it accentuates the curves and gives it a good shape. Looks fit.

Is the netting going to be that effective on the fully banked sections anyway? I do think it makes the track look better in a weird way...

There is water under the coaster in one of those photos so potentially could still be water under that turn in the end product. Hope so!

Mako is to open June 10. I've not made plans to go to Orlando, but if I do, it will be after the 10th.

I'm honestly surprised that they aren't gonna have it open for Memorial Day weekend. Although I think it's going to be safe to assume they will be soft openings sometime around mid May, much like they did with Manta. (That I was able to ride weeks before it officially opened.)

Shipwreck beams will extend up either side of the track. It looks like it would be a great near miss, even with the netting.

Yeah the MCBR is off. there is also a trim after the turnaround which is also off at the moment. but yeah it flys around the circuit and those first 3 elements will be that speed as theres no trim before them
