Plans for 2009

I said:
There's a strong possibility that I may be heading back to Paris next week (and not paying, yay!), so if that happens, I'll go to Parc Asterix as it was closed when I was over there recently.

Just found out that my apartment in Tokyo will be about a half hour walk from Tokyo Disneyland/DisneySea, so no doubt they will be on the cards sometime in May/June/July. I'd rather be living more centrally really, but still pretty cool to have Tokyo Disney as my "home" park. It may even be worth getting an annual pass, but will look into that later.

I missed out on Eejanaika last time, so I'll definitely head out to Fuji Q at some point and no doubt other parks in the area.

I'm going to try and do a few weekends away to get to some other places outside Tokyo (Nasu Highlands?), but made no plans so far.

End of July is the Germany/Denmark trip, and it's looking like I'll be heading to Adventure Island just before that, too.

After that, no idea.

Denmark live for me and maybe Spain.
AI the day before the Denmark live as well.
I really want to go back to Sweden as well.

I said:
Obviously I shall be at Thorpe and Chessie a few times.

Once exams are over I shall be heading to Alton and Oakwood. I might also consider going back to Legoland seeing as I haven't been there for 5 years.

My most anticipated trip though is to Busch Gardens Europe on August 3! Woohoo!

It's not that I want to increase my post count, I just want something to do.

I'll visit Alton several times this season and get my money's worth out of the annual pass. I'm keeping a close eye on Thorpe Park's website and on various trip reports to see whether the park are running their rides consistently. If things are running well, I might have a word with my friends in Canterbury and see if they're up for a trip to Thorpe this summer.

I'll probably end up visiting Lightwater Valley and Flamingo Land with the family at some point this season. I know my brother is keen to go.

I'll hopefully be at the Blackpool live, and I should be at the Yorkshire and Ghosterforce lives if everything goes to plan. I'll also be attending the Euro live this year, which is shaping up to be a fantastic week.

If that's not enough to keep me occupied, I might have a look at doing a couple of 'easy' foreign park visits, like Port Aventura or Disneyland Paris. I'm looking at the possibility of joining in with Mushroom's Madrid trip, but I'm not sure whether I'll be participating in that one or not, as I'll have to shuffle my working hours around a bit in order to do that one.

Here's one I embarrassingly and goonishly posted earlier:

Anyway, here's my list:

Norfolk, end of April:
Pleasurewood Hills, Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach, Joyland

Midlands, mid-May:
West Midlands Safari Park, Alton Towers, Drayton Manor

Belgium, end of June:
Plopsaland

Denmark & Germany, end of July:
Heide Park, Djurs Sommerland, Farup Sommerland, Tivoli Gardens, Hansa Park plus extra parks.

Spain, mid-August:
Parque Warner Madrid, Parque de Attraciones de Madrid

Germany early October:
Phantasialand

Plus: Ghosterforce, the many obligatory trips to Thorpe, Legoland and CWoA

I'm having a really busy year this year as it's my last year of 'freedom' before Uni and I want to make the most out of it by going to as many parks as I can.

My aunt, uncle, and cousin who I never knew liked roller coasters, are generously taking me on a 8 or 9 day roller coaster road trip! And I already went to Disney World with my friend and her parents in February. Even though my parents hate coasters I'm still getting some really good trips in this year!

I'll be getting to:
Cedar Point
Six Flags New England
Hershey
Lake Compounce
Kennywood and/or Knoebels
And maybe some small parks in New York with classic woodies because that's what my uncle likes.

Not sure when but I might throw in Pleasurewood Hills, Flambards, (Forgot its name but its in/near Weston-Super-Mare) and also Alton Towers.

I previously said:
At the moment,I'm making plans for a Port Aventura trip sometime in June, and as I've never been before,I'm praying it works out. That's about 90% confirmed so far.

Considering that's all fully booked and paid for, that is now 100% confirmed. :--D

God I'm getting excited about this one, only 8 weeks to go.

Well I'm seriously thinking of going to Thorpe again this summer since I still have to ride Stealth and Saw and London is an easy and cheapish short stay in Summer. I could go next week but I most likely wont bother since last summer we got stranded there for nearly 2hours after the park closed!

So the only park still confirmed is Six Flags Great America and I might go to Alton or Thorpe.
