Just a quick update...

I spotted more flags on the left hand side of the train, just after the bridge as the train is heading back up to the Iron Dragon/Wild Cat Midway.

There are just a few red flags on the way... nothing too big.

I was just wondering, and this is a serious question, what is so special about flags? I mean, my lawn guys put up flags, and nobody cares. Do you really think every single flag in an amusement park signifies something huge going on?

Yes, but not the exciting coaster kind, all too often they just represent the boring water and electrical utility construction.

That's never fun though so OMG, MORE FLAGS MORE FUN 500 FT. MONSTER COASTER!!!!!

Also, a final nail in the coffin for the excitement over those cement "footers" behind CCMR, those are electrical expansions, same as you find all along perimeter road leading back to Maverick.

Not a bad thing, since they need power for a new ride!

^ Yeah but he's sitting there saying "I wouldn't be excited if I found flags in my front yard", which is the most retarded thing ever because no coaster or ride would ever be built there.

^ THAT was a joke. I guess i forgot a smiley  . I was just using that example to say that, as Hyde said, the flags most likely are just for boring water and electrical stuff, unfortunately. I wish they could be for a ride, and, who knows, they might be. :)

Yeah, they may be just random flags, but what about the mysterious land clearing? There is obviously something else going on. Why add more power to that area of the park? Why clear away a bunch of trees and make it look like ****? Obviously there is something else going on. Just saying.

^ Of course there is a new addition for 2010, that has already been established.

Go back a page and you will see that it has come about that this addition was originally planned for 2009 but was pushed back a year.

My point was that the flags and new cement power conduits may have to do with utility lines for the new addition and are not actual ride footers/track layout markings.

I was going to say "because it's six flags" but then I remembered it's cedar fair  .

I would look for a new ride next year; they usually come out with a new one every 2 or 3 years.

Thank you captain obvious. It's a business, therefore needs something new every now and then to keep people coming back.

Found something new up on their facebook:
