The POV makes it look a hell of a lot slower than it feels, it really is an outstanding ride and by far my favourite coaster in the UK.
I presume this was filmed on a cold, very early morning empty train.
I disagree, for me it delivered a great ride right up until the very end.
It's not going to be the world's most intense ride, Mack coasters never are, but it's smooth, has great airtime even in places where you wouldn't expect, the near misses are excellent also.
The transition into the Big...
The park phoned me a few weeks ago asking me to book a timeslot for my VIP pass.
I never bought one, honestly explained the situation and they said it was their fault so the offer of a ride remained, I could not believe my luck (and the good customer service!).
Yes, I think it was on another forum but a while back Temleh informed us that ICON is a giant snake that has erupted from beneath the ground at Blackpool due to a powerful dagger fracturing the surface of the Earth. It was something like that.
I promise this is not a joke!
The sheer amount of directional changes on this is what I'm excited about, the number of transitions looks amazing! I also thing dropping out of a heartline roll, banking one way, then the other and then dropping down with a bit of airtime into the second launch is going to be a pretty epic moment.
