Re: Walibi Holland | Unknown | Mack (unknown)

As I said on the other page, Mack's version of a Gerst Bobsleigh seems really logical.

Think Gerst Bobsleigh meets El Loco?

Re: Walibi Holland | Unknown | Mack (unknown)

^They seem to have normal lap bars and not the Megacoaster-bars, so I don't think they're fit for inversions. They're probably for some random spinning that's popping up somewhere in China or something.

Anyone reckon these cars might be for Lost Gravity?

Was going to post this the other day as it came up on my facebook. Thought i was onto something with the black and yellow cars matching the colour scheme but held back from posting after seeing the restraints and comparing them to the ones on the blue fire spinning car. Who knows though!

Re: Walibi Holland | Unknown | Mack (unknown)

I thought this Tobi guy was just making up to date No Limits models of the new coasters as they're built - what makes us think he's knows what the trains are going to be?

I'm not really doubting it, but I'm just curious about how he knows.

Re: Walibi Holland | Unknown | Mack (unknown)

Yeah I thought the same Hixee. Just like all of those people that were doing it for Thirteen and The Smiler.

Yh, he's defo just an enthusiast having fun on NoLimits with whatever info he has.

Also, late to the party, but Lost Gravity is a **** name but Gravity Lost would be a fab name. Sounds like it's just been badly translated?

Re: Walibi Holland | Unknown | Mack (unknown)

I must be one of the few who actually likes the name Lost Gravity? Maybe not the best name for a coaster (sounds like it'd suit a drop tower / Shot n Drop ride better), but it's still alright. But it's miles better than Gravity Lost in my mind!

Re: Walibi Holland | Unknown | Mack (unknown)

Walibi are calling the far element as a 'banked tophat' according to their Snapchat. Just fyi :D

Re: Walibi Holland | Unknown | Mack (unknown)

That hell looks banked!

Re: Walibi Holland | Unknown | Mack (unknown)

To me this looks like a track made from people either on Blue Nun or Riesling. If this ride has non spinning cars I will have to give these drinks a go. The transitions seem to be so sharp. If this is a spinner then Maurer Söhne will have to up their game, or join Mack in their design sessions.

I DON'T UNDERSTAND

My thoughts exactly! Took me a while to see a 'banked tophat' in it, it looked more like a crazy inverting overbank or something.

A picture from the park's Snapchat, showing the station area and airtime hills.

Looks even more spinner-like.

Re: Walibi Holland | Unknown | Mack (unknown)

I have to admit, if is is a spinner, I think the combination of the elements of the first drop, bunny hop, banked tophat and airtime hill are by far the best start to any spinner in existence.
