Update on my X-car:

pd2dmtlpic2cf2.png

I'm also in the process of making bleachers, you just can't see them in the pictures. They're right next to the launch track (didn't like the lift,) kinda' like TTD.

Comments?

That looks like a fun little X-car. The supports however, look a bit weak....

An update on Kamikaze:

I'm not going to change the colors anymore. This time, I'm sticking with them.

Now, I've finally fine tuned the track, and smoothened it out. I have just one left turn to tweak to get the bankings to zero, as they get to +0.5.

A teeney weeney update.

I flanged the supports. They look MUCH better now.

Progress on the bleachers so far. Comments?

Seriously. Those supports aren't strong enough. At least the base tube needs to be the next size up. Take a gander at X-treme -lofty-. You will see a support masterpiece :P

Check these supports out:

Basically, that is a glimpse of general supports you can use. Here is some supports of Formule X, one of the first X-cars.

To be honest, I really don't care what you think. You do realize you're beginning to get a reputation, right? And trust me, it's not the good kind.

If you actually think I'm going to use those style of supports like you did on your corkscrew, think again. Those are some of the UGLIEST supports I've ever seen, and the different colors make it that much worse, not that that has anything to do with this, though. And the fact that it changes from one tube size to another? Come on.

Besides, if my supports "aren't strong enough," surely these supports (on the airtime hill) wouldn't hold either?

The highest point of my ride (the top of the hill) is about 71 feet. That hill is MUCH taller, and most likely, the train is going much faster over it too. And yet, it's supported in basically the same style, and you're saying it won't hold? You hate when people criticize your rides, and yet, you're complaining about mine?

My supports are fine how they are, and I'm not changing them. Have you noticed that you're the only one complaining? Seriously.

Beginning! He's got one already, and it terrible!

Those supports are awful. They look nothing like any real supports. Also the colours make then look stupid.

You just contradicted yourself. The ones in that picture look nothing like your supports. They are far better.

I'm sorry Xpress, but I'll only stop getting annoyed at you telling people what to do when I see a decent post from you. Most of your posts don't make much sense.

I thought the X-Car comp was flushed because we were only two who actually handed in?
Maybe there will be something after all?

Or is this just a random X-Car you've made regardless of the closed comp? Thinking about it, it looks like that, because you have a launch.

Tanner - Your supports are close to perfect, but those flanges looks a bit off.

If you look at that picture you see that the support tubes are about the same size as the main spine of the track, and then compare that to the size of tubing and the spine on Tanners X-car and see exactly the same. So you can't bash him for the size of them tubes, because they are perfect, and also Formule X is the last X-car to be built.

BTW those supports on that hill is really bad, why not just use tri-track instead since it will be a lot stronger then the ones you have at the moment.

Wow, the colours suck, those supports on the hill are ridiculous, you don't need that many on a airtime hill as theres only negative force being exerted onto the track, so no need for over the top supports.

But Sfman thsoe supports are really good, the bleachers look quite effective, so don't change anything.

^Ah! Thanks. I thought he was talking about the seating things...

Fine. SFMM, if you're going to be using supports that small, at least make them closer to each other. It's simple actually, as the physics never lie.

Some may have heard of him, some not, but polishcoaster13/coasterkidmwm specifically told me himself that those supports would not hold on the X-car. My supports are based off of USMCR.

Are you saying you've based your supports of a Coaster Sims ride, if so then your pathetic and aren't building rides in terms of realism.

Plus physics has some part on the design, but steel and the supports are a lot stronger than you think Xpress, look at an X-Car, they don't use many supports as the track is quite strong.

My life is at Coaster Sims, not this site. Afterall, Coaster Sims was the first simmulator site out there, even before NL came about.

And USMCR is built by Buster, one of the greatest NL designers.

I've had debates over supports before, and I'm telling you SFMMMan17, they just don't look right. You might want to try making base supports the next size up, and leave your extending supports as that size. BTW, what size ARE you using?

Oh, and for my rides colors, you can all deal with it, as after a two hour debate as to which color I should go, I'm leaving them as Neon purple, and light magenta.

Xpress, you have absolutely NO room to talk about supports. The ones on your airtime hill are HORRIBLE.

Like I said, I don't care what you think, and everyone else is saying they're fine. YOU'RE the only one complaining, so thus, I'm leaving them how they are. Like loefet said, that picture you showed me only contridicted what you said. The only thing I'm probably changing is the flanges.

Just drop it man, it's fine.

And to answer your question Pokemaniac, it was for the comp, but I didn't finish it in time, so I decided to change it from a lift to a launch and theme it to a race track, sorta' like TTD :).

There bits of the track that act as connecting points for the supports.

No, lol, he WAS talking about the seating things, and that's what they are :P.

They're just a fancy name for stands or grandstands, those things you sit on :
