I was beginning to think of using Yellow track/ties, and blue for the main track, primary colors of course. I'm planning on leaving the supports purple, and the trains blue.

May I ONCE again remind you that you are building an Intamin. That means your allowed ONE colour on your track. That means ONE colour for BOTH the rails AND the cross ties. This is one of my biggest pet hates and until intamin make a coaster with two toned track I am sticking by my guns.

From your previous works its clear that you have no taste in colour coordination whatsoever, but you should DEFINATELY stay away from primary colours, unless of course you are planning on making a rollercoaster for 5 year olds. I'm not saying stay away from reds blue and yellows, just use subtle tones of the colours. Maybe get yourself down to a hardware store and pick up a Dulux colour chart for colours that go.

Atlast a coaster that gives me the wow impression!

Your getting a "wow impression" from your own ride? Thats a first..

It does look good though, If not a bit too much like Maverick, in the sense of colours and the overused oververtical drop that everyones doing.

Force Majeure will be out March 18th :)

Firstly, how can you set a date for a ride's release... ...for my sake...

Secondly, it's looking pretty good. I really like the colours and the way it looks.

Thirdly, why are you using xBUSTERx's ride name? You might want to check it out.

Ayhoo. Looks like a Jer smoothed ride. And nice colors

Ya know what Crazycoaster? I'm kinda getting tired in you judging my tatses. "One color tracks". For god sakes. You are the one who has no taste in colors.

And for your info, Stealth, Kingda Ka, and Top Thrill Dragster each have track colored differently. No solid track colors there, multi colored though :P

Actually dear boy, I think you shall find you are quite mistaken. All those coasters track are one solid colour. Yes the one solid colour changes (from red to white on TTD and Blue to green on KK) but the track still only has one colour on it at one time.

Look what I wrote here:

That means ONE colour for BOTH the rails AND the cross ties.

See. If the rails are red, the cross ties must be red. Look at the very pictures you submitted yourself and you will see what I mean. Then go and try to search an intamin coaster with different coloured cross ties to its rails.

I bet you feel silly now :)

Oh and also:

Jer that rides looks very polished and ace. I love the colours too!

Xpress...use one colour if your intamin-ing, seriously, it looks better, and actually realistic. And if you tone down the colour you'll get the light reflecting off it properly and it just looks better!

I was impressed with some of your trackwork recently, but you need to improve in other areas of your design, and your attitude.

Insane, you need to show more of your rides! I can't even see the colour in that picture. There's nothing to comment on.

And Andre, when you releasing that ride? lol seriously, i ain't seen anything in ages.

Andre, seriously. Why CAN'T an Intamin have different color rails? Why CAN'T it be realistic? You know why? Because people like you guys see only the fact that Intamin would rather stick to their usual boring solid color tracks, and supports. Have you no imagination? Comeon...

SFMM:
I think it's time to start our competition before I loose my brainstorming ideas. What are you going to be building? The only rules are: No tools. No 3Ds (for the competition only). I have plans for the track I'm going to create, and it includes 3Ds, as soon as our comp. is over.

It can't because Intamin DON'T do it. Simple as. Not even any of the smaller companies who're using the same style of track have used multiple track colourings.

Its not being unimaginative, its being REALISTIC. See good designers design rides with realism in mind. Do you know how time consuming it would be to paint each cross tie and rail seperately? Its just impractical.

Intamins look SO much better with one single colour. Xpress you should learn that.

Why CAN'T it be realistic?

Coz no real coasters have it...maybe.

Seriously, This Xpress bashing does my nut in, BUT Xpress your being a dildo! Just accept that what your saying is utter tosh, and move on. No1s trying to argue with you, they're just telling you facts and their opinions, take it or leave it.

My only problem is the fact that the only thing that matters with NL tracks are 1.) "Smoothness" and 2.) Use of proper building techniques to achieve the realism, including lead-ins/outs, and proper support building techniques. Some may care a ton about 3Ds, like Crazycoaster, but if his tracks are really great and awesome, then he wouldn't need 3Ds to show it. Not that 3Ds don't add another touch of realism or anything.

I personally don't care about the track colors. Someone can color their track Hot Pink, with Hot Pink supports and Hot Pink cars, and I wouldn't give a rip about it. I'm only in it for the realism of the track designs, and supports.

The only reason I'm disagreeing with Crazycoaster, is that the track file belongs to me, not him. I spent the time building, and smoothing it, and I'm not seeing where he really has any say in it right now, since he's on my bad side currently. Maybee his track can change my mind, and ease up some of the tension.

Hmm, this Hot Pink thing gives me some ideas............

^Oh no... *runs and hides in corner*

Also, I might not be able to have a comp with you since I'm busy working on the Vekoma Tilt Coaster for the comp right now, so it'll have to wait.

And seriously, you need to chill. TAKE PEOPLES ADVICE! CC knows what he's talking about, and it would benefit you EMENSELY if you do what he suggests. It would help your track if it looked more realistic, and it might help your rating too. Just do it, it would help you a lot.

Like people have said, you should strive for realism.

Whatever.

SFMMMan17, you're on with the tilt coaster. I'm making one too :P

Right now, I have the first classical turn and loop built in, and I'm going to be adding in a few more touches.

I'm going to start my tilt coaster soon. I'm already thinking of ideas.

I'm sorry Xpress, but CrazyCoaster is right.

You are wrong.

You strive for realism, yet colour your rides unrealistically. Like CrazyCoaster said, until Intamin build a coaster with different coloured rails and ties I'm "sticking by my guns".

Geese man. You people need to lighten up about other peoples color choices.

Speaking of light color choices:

kamikaze6po5.jpg

:P Can't do anything about the rails. Looks totally realistic with them colored gray from the wear the train wheels give them.

Wow Jer... That is really good!

The track looks smooth and like it has little to no pumping... The colors really do go well with each other.

I really need to update to the latest version...

Anyways, here is the general layout of "CODENAME: LIM v2.0":

Blackout-080315022952000.jpg

There are still lots of kinks in the track work, but I am trying really hard to get them out. The supports are not yet done and the layout after the MCBR is most likely going to change. Any suggestions?

Only 9 days left until the name is released along with the stats and whatnot. Monday, March 24th check out http://www.myspace.com/ijustinentertainment

It is set to private until March 24th. ;)

^It looks OK. You have to make sure that it just doesn't fizzle out. That would be a shame comnsidering how cool the beginning is.

Proximity Breach Update:

3ds work is now coming along nicely as well as the support work as well. Some of the textures have been implemented and are looking pretty good.

This is my first attempt at a 3ds environment since ive recently learned how to use 3ds Studio Max so its still a learning curve but not so steep anymore! Lots of work to do though before its anyway near finished!

Still havent decided what to do with the lift hill yet. Any suggestions?

Anyway, enough waffling, here are some screens:

It looks pretty sweet. I haven't seen this coaster before, so you may have to expand on the lift hill problem...

I really like all of the 3ds work. Well Done.

Thos intamin supports are too small and too few. Check out other intamins that have been created with NL, or check out some on www.rcdb.com, like Millennium Force, or Maverick.

Looks good peely.
