Helix was a fantastic coaster. The only negative I found was that the launches were very weak, but as there is so much more to the ride than the laucnhes, it barely impacted on the otherwise exceptional ride. Realistically, I don't think Liseberg could have built something much better.

I actually rode Boulderdash 3 years ago, but only once and while it was good it didn't blow me away. However, when I rode it again yesterday, I managed to get 7 rides in, which meant I got a much better feel for the ride. It's a brilliant ride that has a relentless pace and basically has all the great features of intensity, laterals, airtime in abundance. The only thing that stops from being a top coaster for me, is that I do feel that it is fairly rough around edges and some of the transitions were a bit uncomfortable, but definitely nothing unbearable.

After finally getting to SF:NE I have to say something that I know puts me in, a fairly small, minority:
I think I still like MForce over Bizarro

It sounds insane, since Bizarro has more airtime and a better layout...guess chuck it up to personal preference: The sense of speed and relentless pace of MForce is just tops for me, and it's soooo re-ridable, 10 times in a row without issue. Bizarro was fine, but those restraints are a bit annoying. I will have to try it again..thanks to nightmarishly bad operations, and horrid reliability over 3 hours of my day spent waiting for Cyclone (which sucked) and Goliath, and it does put you in a bad mood.

It's a damn great ride though, my current top 10:

After going back to Six Flags Great Adventure and 4 amazing night rides on El Toro it has taken over my number 1 spot and some others have mixed around including GateKeeper dropping down to 10 and Kingda Ka going right behind its older but smaller brother in the 5 spot. Green Lantern dropped down after a pretty rough ride and Batman The Ride redeemed itself so much. After a horrible ride a month and a half ago it was a much better and smoother ride this time jumping up at least 50 spots. Bizarro and Superman gave some pretty great rides. Dark Knight was okay and I added another 6 rides to my Skull Mountain total to 28. Overall a great couple days. With the addition of Kingda Ka, Sky Rocket fell from my top 20.

After a massive jog around I think my top 10 is certainly looking much better, though once I've done Blackpool hopefully I can knock out some of the lower ones (saw and beneath)
1. Megaphobia - It's such a fantastic ride, full of airtime and laterals, and the pace never lets up, even though it's got a considerably lengthy layout!
2. Oblivion - Whilst it's not got the most inspiring layout, it's one of the only rides left that still gives me a decent thrill, and for that I love it. Also that drop is amazing!
3. Swarm - Whilst it's not all that intense or forcefull it does have it's moments, and its just an increadibly fun ride!
4. Stealth - Again, it's got a bland layout, but the launch is just outstanding!
5. The Smiler - Whilst it's barely got any forces, I love the variety of the layout, the inversions are all extremely enjoyable and offer something different. I know it's rough, but I can overlook that for the vast selection of enjoyable inversions on offer. (Though admittedly that cobra roll is vile!)
6. Nemesis - I know it's shocking how low it is, but I do love it! I just find it's very hit or miss if you get one of the amazing rides on it. The layout it pure fab, but sometimes it fails to deliver on the intense G-s people love it for. I wish I could place it higher, but it looses marks for inconsistency.
7. Shockwave (DM) - Not a fantastic ride, but the standup element really makes it shine, I personally really enjoyed it, and the zero g roll is amazing!
8. Saw: The Ride - Whilst it has some fantastic moments of airtime and some great drops, the inversions do nothing for me, and the ride is too rough.
9. Dragons Fury - Certainly not the most intense ride you'll ever come across, but for what is a glorified kids cred, it's great fun, and has a rather unique layout. It almost makes the trip to Chessie worth it!
10. Speed: No Limits - The ride had some great moments, but failed to deliver any of the airtime Saw offers, and can be increadibly rough in the front row. Other than that, it's a short ride which has some standout moments, but never really delivers fully.

Nothing new, but I decided to make a minor change in my Top Ten. I rode Boulder Dash today and I realized there's a smaller gap between Boulder Dash and Nemesis than BDash and Bizarro. So I moved Nemesis above Bizarro as I thought it does a whole lot more than Bizarro.
