If I still have idle room in my Top 10, I'd like to shoehorn Supersonic Odyssey somewhere in there, near the bottom. It looks good, it has its decent moments, it's... well... themed in a special fashion, but it also has terrible pacing issues. Crawling out of the station into an inline twist, it gains some speed after several seconds, then blows it all as it just then enters its lift hill. The pre-drop section after the lift is a little long and slow, but the drop is cool and the subsequent 15 seconds are good as well. Then the ride slams into the brakes, and the trip is over. It takes forever to get up to proper speed, and then ends just as the speed starts to be fun. Even in my top 10 (out of <20), I wouldn't place it higher than 8 or 9. Still beats the likes of Loopen, though.

Things get unclear after Montu.

Apollo absolutely blew me away. I rode in the back first, and wasn't particularly impressed. Then, I rode in the second row, which completely changed the ride. Every single hill from the first drop to last bunny hill gave perfect long, sustained floater. I know some people don't really like gentle floater, but I thought it was amazing. The helix had no force to it, which was disappointing, but overall the ride was great fun, especially in the front row.

Griffon has all the positives that Sheikra has: the drop is spectacular, and gives great airtime in the back row. The immelman has glorious floater air, especially on the left side of the train. The second drop gives just as good airtime as the first. However, Griffon goes above and beyond Sheikra for what happens after the MCBR. It throws in a second inversion with a bit more hangtime, as well and as two little hills, one right before the splashdown and one after the turnaround into the final brakes. Both of these give more airtime, and push Griffon into my 8 spot.

EDIT: I got indecisive and decided to swap Batman and Griffon. I think it's more accurate now.

I try to put a variety of coaster types in my Top 25 and already have three Intamin mega/giga coasters in there, but Expedition GeForce would probably be in my Top 30.

Colossos has gone to number 2, as it's absolutely brilliant.

Knocked Nitro down 2 pegs since its trains are running absolutely horrible this year, especially its C-train. El Toro's been running well the last few weeks thanks to the moderately warm weather but any time it rains it just runs horribly the rest of the day. Phoenix still number one, even with its new greenish look and a slightly modified turnaround after the double down. Hydra got bumped up a bit this year because for some odd reason it's been running very, very smooth compared to what it normally does, almost pre-2009 Bizarro levels of smoothness.
