Big One is only 235ft if you believe BPB's marketing hype. It's really 213ft.
It's 235ft (from sea level).
Or as they'll soon market it, 500,000 ft (from earth's core)

Really should've called that a prediction. Not a prediction by any means but my final hope is for an Intamin/Mack mega.
If it ends up being Mack… I’m hoping it’s more RTH and Helix than Blue fire…Assuming it is a Mack hyper…. is DC Rivals actually particularly good? Beyond being the best coaster in Australia? Looks OK but all POVs are shaky-jake.
Batman himself rates it top 25 so that’s a good sign: https://heartlinecoaster.com/2020/07/03/top-10/
I just inherently think Mack -> blue fire -> meh.
Yes i have been on the hyper at the land of legends in turkey it an awesome ride (my number 2 coaster just behind shammy b) and i can safely say i am more than happy with this announcement and surprised too !! well done thorpe park lets just pray this gets through planning.Anyone been on DC Rivals or the Turkish one then? Always thought the hype around DC was the backwards seats.
Delighted with this tbh. Well done Thorpe for showing some ambition and focussing on building a coaster thats actually quite good.
Relieved/surprised it's not a B&M Dive Machine.

Or this ****ing beast:If it ends up being Mack… I’m hoping it’s more RTH and Helix than Blue fire…
I've done DC rivals, in Aussie summer, end of the day, and it was insane. The bunny hops at the end were honestly getting on painful, that's how much the thing was flying. Pretty insane and intense coaster if I'm being honest. SO to say Thorpe may be possibly getting one, 30+feet bigger pretty excited!Anyone been on DC Rivals or the Turkish one then? Incoming petition to re-evaluate the sea level at Blackpool, I guess ... perhaps it actually is two feet lower than previously assumed? It appears Pleasure Beach have even gotten in on the excitement; it doesn’t look like they’re happy about having been one-upped:
In actuality, rising sea levels probably means the coaster is actually only around 230ft tall these days compared to 30 years ago.Incoming petition to re-evaluate the sea level at Blackpool, I guess ... perhaps it actually is two feet lower than previously assumed?
I think yes, unless we count the grey area of Ferrari Land as it’s part of PortAventura. On another note, am I right in thinking Thorpe will be only the second park in Europe to have two hypers, after Energylandia?
