Rita vs Stealth

I don't know why, but the more I ride Stealth, the more I like it, so I think I prefer that, but then I haven't been on Rita since March.

And at the weekend, for the first time, I actaully experienced 'airtime' on Stealth's tophat.

After 9 pages I still haven't made my mind up!
 
STEALTH eaisily. Its much smoother than Rita and does'nt have a first bend that wacks you pinfully into the side of your seat. :lol:
 
I have come to my firm conclusion on Stealth now.


It's ****.


The area's dull, the queue lacks anything at all, the station is ugly, the countdown is slow and dull, as is the launch, the pull up into the Top Hat is painful as you SLAM your back, the view is there for about a second, the drop is the worst ever, the bottom also hurts, the airtime hill hurts for the two seconds it lasts. The ride is short, painful and dull.

I rode stealth yesterday so now I can vote. I think Stealth is better, much faster launch, higher. (the view is great at the top at night time)
Rita says 0-100 in 2.5 secs but they dont tell people if its mph or kmph. Its obviously kmph but it would full some people into thinking its really fast.

Well............yes. Thats the general idea behind it.

Even that is wrong.

It does 0-100 in 0.8 seconds.

Rita was running AWFULLY yesterday, and yet she still managed to be SO much better then Stealth.
 
I'm having a sudden burst of passion for Rita atm, so I'm going to announce it here.

I'm glad that Rita isn't far behind Stealth with 46%. The thing I don't like though is that people who hate Rita give it a rating below 5. That's so unfair. Most of the people who dislike Stealth give it at least an average rating. I would never give Stealth below a 5 even though I think it's crap.

Its not unfair, its the rating it deserves. Plus if people want to give it a 4 then why not?

I thought you were talking about Stealth? Not Rita. To be fair Stealth's area is crap but then again Rita is located in Uglyland..
 
No UC, he was talking about Rita.

Stealth fits into its area alot better, its not making a complete mess like Rita is. A ride themed to racing in Ugland is just daft, its just a mess basically.
 
Since when did Stealth fit into an area themed to a tidal wave Scott? It gives Amity Cove a bad name.
 
^I'd say Stealth fits into Amity very well, with the 1950s american theme - like the town hit by a 'Tidal Wave'.
 
A 200ft tall, White Tidal Wave, racing at 80mph up and down?

As opposed to Rita, themed around a female race driver (Queen of Speed ;)) which launches at 60mph into numerus hill's, and corner's, as if she is actually racing.

Cmon, it's a no brainer really.
 
I'm glad theres not much difference in the poll, neither derserve to win really.

Although IMO Stealth offers the best ride experience of the two.
 
You can not call Stealth themed, but I'd say it's got a better theme than TTD. These things are hard to theme. The only sole purpose of Stealth is for a thrill ride, many teenagers in London couldn't give a **** if it's themed of not.

Rita is more easy to theme, There's actually land like hills to theme it around. The cost of that was to make UG land un-neat. But the initial fact that Rita like people have said liven up the area, the way how it governs and rap's the area up.

Launch coasters can not be themed well, look at Velocity Stealth TTD. But Alton had the chance of landscaping it and used it very well.

Exactly.

Its the same for all the other people who arent enthuiasts. They havent gone to complain about the theme, they've gone to ride Stealth and enjoyed it.
 
^ Yes, but I'm not GP, so I worry about stuff like atmosphere.

And considering TP told us at first that there'd be a queue line stadium, I'm naturally let down.
