Holy hand grenades that is tall, or looks it from that angle. I'm still uber excited about this coaster, can't wait to see the layout properly.

If we can get more angles, we could see the positions of the supports and get a better idea of the layout, especially around the station.

^ The placement of the connection plate along the horizontal bar tells me that there is going to be a banked turn going between the legs of the supports too. That ground does seem to be a little bit too close though, maybe just the angle of the picture?

^Agreed with above.. I think it shall be at least slightly angled.. and I do think they'll dig out a little bit of a trench as well.

So FAR.. this does look quite good tho.

That confirms that there's no pre-drop as well. I wonder how that's going to feel. I personally like the feel and look of the flared out drop, but we'll see how this goes.

^^^ Its not to do with the angle...

and its not the only place they've done it;

Dont know if its just me, but it just seems so strange building it like that.

Also, does this mean 3 (or even 4) trains?

image.php

If so, then this MUST surely have a MCBR?

^ Unless they have three and only use two of them at any time, with the third one as back-up/undergoing maintenance...

But I have to say after looking at all the pics on Potionmagix that a trip to Park Asterix is a must next year...

Hopefully it will be like Montu and have some forces.

Never liked Asterix that much but that coaster means I will end up going back at some point when in France.

First drop is done!!

From: Potionmagix!!

With all the supports already up, it won't take long before much of the track is installed.

It doesn't look all that big from that angle, compared to the other angles, but NOM B&M invert that looks like it won't suck!

Looks like that this first drop is innovative for a B&M of its kind ?

^Yes, just noticed there isn't that little pre-drop section at the top of the hill, almost reminds me of the track style used for that new flying coaster in China (correct me if I'm wrong...).

Looks good! Especially for Asterix, home to that death machine...

The drop looks ALOT steeper and tighter than the concept artwork picture, yum yum.
