Just watched Half-Blood Prince. I think I can sum it up in one word. BORING. My mum and dad fell asleep. 2 hours in and NOTHING had happened. What a waste of time.
I'll give cred for the graphics though, they are impressive, other than near the begining you could clearly tell it was shot in the daytime and converted to night.
'Bout 3/10 then.

Recently got back from seeing Where the Wild things are.
I never read the book as a child so I had no nostalgia thing before seeing it. I thought it looked a bit pants after seeing the trailer. Yet I came out quite satisfied. It was a good, very well made, film. The kid is great, one of the best child actors on screen imo. The soundtrack is quite cool (but to be honest, I expected nothing less from Jonze). There was something that I felt was missing but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. Oh well, an enjoyable film.

Watched Little Miss Sunshine today in Film as a treat.
What a great feel good movie! It starts off slow, but you think things are going to get bad, before a great ending.
The mix of porn related jokes also made me lol muchly.
Great mix of drama, humour and sadness.
8.5/10, and highly recommended.
Off to the preview (and only) screening of Avatar tonight
So excited as it's a film I've been on about all year AND IT'S TONIGHT! I've never said it'd be amazing, but I am very much looking forward to it, and no matter how good or **** it is, I'm off to see it in Imax 3D over the xmas holidays
