Which is the best? OK, this is a bit like my nemesis vs rita vs air, but i forgot to add oblivion in the other one...so im starting a new one WITH oblivion!

I think Nemesis is the best, but I really enjoy Oblivion. I just love the drop - it makes Apocalypse look like a kid's slide. I've just done Nemesis far too much (even though I try to avoid it), I know it too well and it has lost it's impact. Though every year, my first ride blows me away.
air and Rita just don't rate anywhere for me. They're rides I go on if other people are. Any coaster is better than no coaster. Usually though, I do the baby sitting at that point.

I havnt ridden Oblivion yet. (duno if that excludes me from this or not)

1. Oblivion - The drop is just amazing (well that's all there is lol). The best coaster in the UK imo.
2. Rita - I was expecting this to be average, but it completely blew me away. The launch was awesome, the turns were really forceful and there was some great airtime.
3. Nemesis - It's a good ride but I don't really enjoy it as much as Rita or Oblivion. It's getting pretty rough and I get off feeling sick and I get a bad headache. Also I don't think that it's as forceful as everyone says. Jubilee Odyssey is much more intense.
4. Air - I don't understand why the GP like this so much. It's just really dull.

1. Nemesis - Even though many believe it to be over-hyped, it does do a whole lot more than the rest at Alton. Besides it's the only coaster at Alton now that truly "inverts upside-down". Its number 1 for obvious reasons.
2. Oblivion - Its just... Bloody good! Not much but seriously that is one hell of an experience; especially found in a British park. Wow!
3. Air - It's an experience. Decent, but does nothing hardly special.
4. Rita - Notice a pattern here... Figure it out you will earn epic brownie points :wink:

:lol: I just need to expand on that one a little. It's more like Ritard: Queen of ****. I must admit I really do hate it. Ever since I queued 2 and half hours for it as it constantly broke down, rode it, came off thinking what the **** was that and had a sore neck afterwards!? Alton has really started to slip downhill. One thing I'd hate to see soon is an additional "5." reserved for this list on regards to Alton's 2010 coasterA-Kid said:

I really like air. It gives you a feeling of gliding which is what it's supposed to do i guess. Rita's my least fave, but it was still ok. Would have been worse if I didn't have a fastpass. So my list goes:
