I love her so! Can't wait for the new album (June 23rd)

My initial views on Enter Shikari's "Common Dread's" albums are good. I think in way's it is stronger than "Take To The Skies" but in ways it is weaker. The thing with 1st record was that everyone knew the songs about 2 or so years before it came out. I do like this one though. The 1st 4 tracks are brilliant. I love the opening of track no 2. I am not so good with names yet. Track 3 has a wicked riff in that sounds like Linkin Park when they were actually still good.

My favourite track is The Jester because of that goofy drum and bass breakdown deal at the end. The live DVD that comes with it doesn't do them justice though. Actually seeing them live is a different thing altogether.

I have really got into REM recently as well. I recommend Nightswimming as a song to get into them by. Why does Mike Stipe always look like he's about to die from AID's though?

I had Kasabian's new album "West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum" last week and it is brilliant. It is quite different from their other albums in the type of music but in my opinion it is the best album they have done.

And also, Frankmusik should be in your head too:

I saw them on 4music's upcoming show thing a few days ago. I dunno if I like them though. The chorus is very catchy, but the rest of the song is pretty pants though.

I'm sure after hearing it a further 50 times on the radio, my ideas will change.

I agree with you completely, but I actually prefer this to Take To The Skies. You can tell as a band they have matured and taken their time to perfect the music, even though it took less time to produce (I think thats what they said in the DVD). Solidarity (Track 2) is amazing and my favourite track is The Jester, just the drum and bass part is so catchy. Another personal favourite is Zzzonked (why do they insist on having titles like that, e.g No Sssweat on TTTS) Fully recommend it.

9/10

I also got a Bootleg CD with the bundle I ordered and it's signed by the whole band :D

Tiga - Shoes

Boys Noize - Jeffer

This seems the most appropraite topic to post this in: If you have not seen it yet, I STRONGLY recommend that you see Pendulum's set at Glastonbury. It's simply AMAZING!!! I've seen it about 6 times now, and it still gets me dancing around xD

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00lhzm1/Glastonbury_2009_Pendulum_and_Maximo_Park/

(It starts at around 21 mins into the video)

And the Zinc Remix of La Roux's Bulletproof is AMAZING! The original is great too:

^I saw some of it aswell on BBC Three last night, and I thought they were amazing with all the crazy lights. But I don't see the point in the guy in the vest top who just runs round and shouts Glastonbury every now and then.

I also saw Kasabian and Franz Ferdinand on BBC Three and they were both brilliant aswell.

^ I think he's just trying to get the crowd going a bit more

I've really enjoyed the whole of Glastonbury this year and I've discovered some new music I like, which most people already know about, but oh well. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs...Little Boots...even some Bruce Springsteen xD

I'd love to go one day...

Nahhhhh it's all about this!!!

Jamie T - Sticks 'N' Stones [EP]

Well as I'm going to see him tomorrow night, I thought I would give his new EP a listen (was released on Sunday) and I'm really impressed with it, if you like his other stuff then you'll love this! My favourite songs are Sticks 'N' Stones, On The Green and The Dance of the Young Professionals.

^ Love that song! the EP's great too.

Jamie T is a complete ledge. His first album was fantastic, I bought it on a whim and it's one of my most listened to albums.

NOT a recommendation, but if it's stuck in my head, then it's only fair that everyone suffers. Ladies and ladies, I give you Cho-coh-reh-ee-toh-dis-coh (Chocolate Disco in Japanese).
