Manta- B&M Flyer for SWO opening May 22

from one of the pictures that twist looks very weird or painful or akward, like something in rct. It might just be the angle, though. They might even finish this before the scheduled date.

Then why the hell does the SWO website say its opening in the summer? Unless its a publicity stunt so they can say its opening early. But thats probably not going to happen.

They should open the coaster early, just for me :--D. I'm going in spring, its gonna kill me not to go on it. I'll probably ask to be the first tester.

The coaster itself will be finished before the Christmas rush as to not block the pathways as it currently does. It's the aquarium entrance that takes time to finish. The coral reef they're putting in will take up to a year to fully develop, but the other portions will only take about 30 days to get ready once the water in the tanks are stabilized. They will be ready to move the sea life into the tanks in May, so June is pretty much confirmed for the opening.

I just have one problem and that is it seems to do everything at the start of the ride, I hope the end of the ride still does something.

The coaster will flow well throughout as the end of the ride will have the final/fourth inversion (inline roll) and the wingtip splash just before the end brake run.

I hope to have my full report finished & posted tomorrow.

I like the fact that its called Manta, yet its bloody difficult to keep one in captivity, because of size and the fact they don't like it.

As far as I knew, it's just because they are so massive. They can be more than 20ft across, I think. That's a BIG animal.

There's one at the massive aquarium in Georgia. But that place does have a Whale Shark, which just goes to show how big the aquarium is.

For some reason I think the station crossover is going to be pretty sweet. Does anybody know if that track is going to be inside a building or are they just leaving it open?
