Mushroom, that video is hillarious! I don't think i've laughed at a video so hard in ages. I now have ice cream down my t-shirt.

^ Yeah okay, this is what I got.

Anyway, I had to transfer at bubble building for a virgin train to London and finally arrived at train over the water. Marc met me at the station, and we walked back to his place, chatted and drank coffee for a while until Mark got home. I met their cats. The young tabby one is nuts. The white one looks a bit evil, but is actually a real softy. The black one is a bit of a ****!

Time for some credits, so we walked around the corner to white water rafting beach monkey water. I’d never been here before, but thought it was pretty decent for a seaside park. Because it was after 6pm, I got a half price wristband. I’d never tried a Eurofighter before, so we headed straight onto Rage. I thought it was pretty good really. It was nowhere near as rough as I’d been expecting, the drop was very good, and it packed quite a lot into such a small space.

Next up was recycled painting, which had a stupidly long train, and wasn’t very good. Luckily, we got a second circuit just to confirm our suspicions of crapness.

The next coaster up was airplane. Rubbish!

The final coaster was Mickey's car costume. I actually quite liked this. It didn’t ride like a Pinfari at all. I thought it was the best coaster there after Rage, actually. I don’t think these people agreed with me though.

We had a quick go on a pretty good dark ride, Over the Hill. The U.K. mostly does dark rides, but this one is fun. No other word for it sorry.

I wanted to try a couple of flat rides, so selfishly made these people wait while I did just that. There was Slimy lobsters which gave me a headache, followed by the sun which made me feel like throwing up. The car wouldn’t align properly either, so I had to stay on it and get sent round again. These people smiled politely as they waited for about 15 minutes altogether.

We went back to the cats, ordered pizza and watched Big Brother. I haven’t seen Big Brother since that poof won it years ago, and I shan’t be watching it again.

Hmmmm, just realised that this doesn’t belong in this topic at all really. Ah well. Bollocks to it. It was part of MY trip, and that’s the important thing.

So yes that's what I got from it, Ollie.. Very clear indeed..

I managed to get it all straight away and I'm usually rubbish at that sort of thing.

Well good for you, wanna sort it out for me then and post the answers? :p I know I got wristband and Rage, but the other ones not so much.

Taylor if you look at the park guide your should be able to work it out. The green thing is for the green long coaster the claw is for the ride that looks like a claw etc.

I did not get it straight away but was half asleep.

Very clever Gavin :)

I really was shocked when I saw who I got, my heart sunk at 1st as I expected a telling off. It was a funny moment :)

It's The Gavinci Code, Taylor.

I must get round to writing up the second day. I've read all of these report so far...even Ollies! I'll even read Goon's when it gets round to writing about it.

I'm too lazy and don't have the time to tag everyone, so feel free to tag away if you want too.

I was going to write a PTR for each day but I don't think I can be bothered now. I don't have the time to do it this week, and tbh it's going to be saying exactly the same as all the others. :p

Day 4 Tivoli Gardens and Bakken.

Well after a long drive in the rain and a huge bridge we got there. Waited for the group and went in to Tivoli.

Well the park is stunning the building and the landscape, just a shame it was raining :(

Off to Dæmonen for ERT.

I am not the greatest fan of B&M floorless coasters and many of the group had never been on one so I was looking forward to their views. Just about everyone said it was pointless unless you are at the front. The coaster was ok not great but better than Kraken. The drop was nice as was the loop and Zero G. The best part was the airtime just before the brake run. Had a ride in each row and that was enough for me, the coaster got no better during the ERT it just stayed the same. The staff yet fantastic the ride ops were talking to us telling us about Vertigo and how we should ride it.

So next was the best flat ride I have ever been on.

Vertigo was like a Booster but faster, alot faster. We rode it in automatic mode with everything on to get the full power. The G was great and the ride just so smooth and totally forcefull, loved it. Did not feel sick at all either, was just on a high for ages.

It then rained and people got soaked hehe. A park worker offered Mark her coat as it was raining, yet again fantastic customer service.

Onto the kiddy coaster next to Vertigo, can not remember the name. 7 laps, shame it was a boring coaster but Neal seemed to like it :)

Off to the powered coaster as the wooden coaster was shut as the track was wet and the brakes would not work.

Powered coaster was ok as it goes, nice layout over footpaths and building.

Next was food and then the wooden coaster.

I enjoyed it, I like these coasters with brake men as the ride tends to be different each time. The coaster had some airtime and some nice drops.

Went for a 2nd ride and when we got off the ride op asked if we wanted a tour of the coaster, well of course we did.

He took us deep into the ride and the workshop, and to the top. Great guy who done this tour during his lunch break. He loved that coaster you could tell, it was great and a highlight for me.

That was all we had time for but I would love to go back.

Bakken

This park felt very fun fair tbh and I did not really like it.

We met the MD of the admin company who looks after all the people that own the rides, yes it was complicated.

He gave us a talk and took us to the wooden coaster, he explained about the coaster and future plans. Now at the moment they have a brake man but are going to automatic trains. I dont like this move at all, it will turn a classic coaster into a normal woody that will lose its charm. We had some drinks and were then led to the coaster. I dont really know what to say about this really, as I said a long talk about the history to then be told its all changing :( Pleased I rode it as it should be tbh. What I did not like was the bit about "our coaster is better than the one at Tivoli" when tbh I liked the other one as it had more charm and wont be ruined by new trains. I am not sure if other people found this but the smell of the treated wood gave be a head ache after a while.

We went round once stopping on the corners to take pictures, then we done a whole circuit. I enjoyed the coaster but it was not like great, just ok.

Off to Typhoon. I really enjoyed it the fast lift hill and the spin, but it was a bit short but still good.

The kiddy coaster at the front was next, the ride op was stopping the train on the lift hill and then letting it go again. Was funny, but still a boring ride.

Next I think was Racing?, was ok fun coaster really.

Then it was the Vekoma Mine train family coaster. Well what a 1st drop lol took us all by shock. Good layout and fun really.

The Ghost Train was ok, some good jumpy moments.

Once more go on the woodie and we left for the ferry, which I must say was ok. Fast loading and unloading, food was nice as was the ferry really.

This to me was the worst park of the trip, and one park I probably would not rush back to. Some people loved it others were like me.

Drive to the hotel was fun :) then it rained which was not fun as I could not see the road.

Day 5 Hansa Park.

Well this park was a shock for me. I had seen pictures of the park before and I thought it looked a dump, how wrong was I.

It was stunning, well themed and clean.

We were greated before we went in by a wooden banner with "coasterforce.com" on it, we were given t-shirts and other items. Nice touch by the park and made us all welcome. Yet again great customer service.

Anyway first ride of the day was

Fluch von Novgorod. I rode this coaster in the back and tbh I was far from impressed by the coaster. I thought it was forceless and to slow, people who rode in the front seemed shocked by this. I said I will see later during the ERT. But I loved the launch and the sound track plus the coaster was not rough unlike other Eurofighters.

Next was El Paso Express, I did not like it as it made me feel sick. Far to much stopping and starting and then going backwards. I think it would be fun if it went faster.

Next was the Bell ride, this was fun and unique. It looked like it was to spinny but this was not tha case and it gave some good forces. Jerry and I were lucky enough to be right over the fire when it went off so that added to the experience.

Next was the water ride in a big ring. Well I got wet, thanks Mark and Ian. I think I was the only person who did.

Next I think was the looping space ship thing. Was ok normal inverting pirate ship ride.

The Wild Mouse was next, this was well themed and the band of bears played some music that we all sung along to. But then on to the coaster and you get the normal ride.

Next was Nessie I think, this was a let down to me. I love this make of coaster but this one felt slow and forceless, the drops were good but that was it :(

The Vekoma family coaster was next. This was not to bad, had good crowd and ride interaction and was fun.

The group split for lunch and we were to meet up and the bouncy things.

Whilst walking back we found Andrew being looked after by Chris H and the emergency services. I am not going into this as its been said. But thanks to them and Jerry Andrew was taken to hospital and should be home soon, get well Andrew.

So the jumpy things proved fun and I managed to rugby tackle Stone Cold to the group :)

Some of the group done the Star Flyer as well.

The group then split again as some wanted to do the Splash boat and others the swings and slides :)

We found a water area and people jumped from stone to stone etc. As they were walking off to the ride Caffine Demon slipping and ended up in the water lol. You have seen the video it was funny.

So the group done the ride and got wet.

We met up again at the log flume which was ok but not the best.

Then the group who missed the splash boat done them, and a water fight broke out. Please see the video Mushroom posted :)

Bumper cars were next, you were meant to shoot things I think? Anyway none of understood it so we just used them as they were meant for and that was to bump :) Alot of fun.

Group then met up at Fluch von Novgorod for 30 mins ERT which turned into 45.

The staff again made this an ERT to remember, so friendly etc.

The ride at the front and late in the day is so much better I was impressed, yes you heard right I liked this Eurofighter. When the theming is complete this ride is going to be something special. It will probably be one the best themed coasters in Europe.

ERT over we headed to the car park to say bye to Jerry and Adian :( and then take the cars back and fly home :( Sad times.

Thanks Slayed for everything on this trip, you done us proud.
Thanks to the parks for everything, I think everyone wants to go back. Thanks Jerry for the translation work was great to finally meet you. Thanks to every person who went on this trip I will never ever forget it.

Thats its from me its all over with a tear in my eye and this time not through laughing :(

What miraculous, secret-formula substance did they use to treat the wood Marc?

Want to know why it was so good? I've just seen this:

http://www.rcdb.com/1457.htm

Not a Vekoma at all!

There's only one more of these. It's at the new Happy Valley in Shanghai, along with the custom woodie, dive machine, suspended and Mega-Lite. Yet another reason I HAVE TO GET TO THAT PARK!

Going to try and keep this trip report shorter than the last one.

Day 3:
Farup Sommerland
We got to the park quite early in the morning. We could see Lynet testing when we got there.

6340_1206624042823_1145311439_644149_7657443_n.jpg

We headed straight into the park and headed over to Lynet. The staff were already waiting on the station for us. Lynets station was really well themed. The queue was also pretty dark and creepy.
6340_1206625122850_1145311439_644175_3341272_n.jpg

ERT was great fun. I only went on it about 8 times as I started to feel ill after a while. While I wasn't riding though I was taking photos and the awesome staff there let myself and some others do the restraints for the cars and do all the buttons to dispatch it. It was great fun. :)

After a while though most people started to feel ill so the trains kept getting emptier and emptier. You can tell Peter's almost had enough by his facial expressions.

After ERT the park opened and everyone else came running over to Lynet. We took the chance to have a short break and get some food.

6340_1206625162851_1145311439_644176_7259109_n.jpg

We then all headed over to ride Falken. It was quite a fun ride. Really short and nothing amazing but most people were just laughing the whole way round. Especially with the lift hill that pulled you up funny and the strange first drop.

After this half went on the speed boats (yes a park had speedboats you could drive). And others stayed on the trampolines nearby where the famous incident with Mushroom occurred.
6340_1206625482859_1145311439_644184_8052051_n.jpg

I did the speedboats though. They were really fast as well.

6340_1206625442858_1145311439_644183_1677998_n.jpg

After this we all headed to go on the Rapids. We all went in the boat that was named 'Manda's Boat' (which we kept doing the whole trip). It seemed that whenever we called it that we got some insane spinning on the rapids. The rapids here were well themed in places but not very wet.
6340_1206628602937_1145311439_644258_7539456_n.jpg

We the did the epic assault course which was amazing. Not everyone did it though but those that did had an amazing time. It lasted for about an hour and had loads of stuff you wouldn't see here in the UK due to H&S. I took loads of pictures of it but here are some highlight pictures. The rest can be found in my album on Facebook.

6340_1206626082874_1145311439_644197_7451479_n.jpg

The monkey bars were probably the main highlight of the course. They were over a really deep river that had leeches in it (yes leeches). Most people passed it and went over the bridge next to it but some members braved it. I was third to attempt it. It had just stopped raining so all the bars were really wet. I was worried I was going to fall in but made it so was happy. I think it was all the cameras that were pointing at those crossing that made me determined to make it. Only two mambers didn't make it across. Brad took ages to decided if he was going to try. He then went halfway but bailed but climbing over the bridge next to the bars. Then Steven went. Well... I'll let the pictures do the work. :)

After the assault course you could pick up certificates saying that you completed it. :) Most of were tired and sweating by this time so we decided it was time for lunch. The park were really kind and had organised us to get free lunch. And by lunch they went a stage further and gave us all free 'all-you-can-eat buffets' So had pizza and pasta while others went for the meat and rib etc. The woman who served us our drinks was super fit and was really nice. Speaking of glasses. Look at the size of them...

After lunch we went on Mine Expressen. It had quite a long queue and the coaster was nothing amazing but it was still fun. :)

After this we went on Flagermusen which was the parks spinning wild mouse. It had a long queue earlier in the day so we skipped it but as it was the only credit left we got in the queue. It had an awesome entrance though. :p

6340_1206628162926_1145311439_644247_3698649_n.jpg

It spun stupidly fast which by the end made most people either cry with laughter or cry from feeling sick.

Next it was time for the group photo so we found a massive climbing net. Me and Martyn raced straight to the top and talked while we waited for everyone else to get up.

We then left the park to head over to...

Karolinelund
I got to go in Jerrys car with Pierre, Manda and Aiden and it was really fun. We were laughing almost the whole journey.
We were the first car to get there so waited by the entrance for everyone else to arrive.
6340_1206649563461_1145311439_644298_3390496_n.jpg

They had these giant ties as the first thing you saw when you walked in through the entrance.
6340_1206649603462_1145311439_644299_6936731_n.jpg

Another car turned up and Neal tried on the tie.
6340_1206649683464_1145311439_644301_7895372_n.jpg

We then found out that the others were the other end of the park. So we headed over to meet them. Slayed got all our tickets for the rides while we faffed for a bit. First up was the boomerang. I had never done one before so was kind of looking forward to it. Everyone was telling me they were rubbish and rough but I found it quite fun. But then everyone said it was one of the best boomerangs they had been on.

Next we went on the drop tower. It was alright. Not very powerful but still quite fun.
6340_1206650323480_1145311439_644313_5568697_n.jpg

Next up was looping. We all noticed that in this park all the fit Danish women had disappeared and they all looked really skanky and ugly. The ride op for this ride saved the park by having quite an attractive one. :)

6340_1206650523485_1145311439_644318_4743277_n.jpg

We then played in the playground where Stone Cold ran into a steel bar and hit his head.
6340_1206650443483_1145311439_644316_6125046_n.jpg

We then grabbed the final credit of the park. The big apple that had two trains and a turntable. The ride op must of known we were enthusiasts as she teased us by giving us loads of laps and a really fast ride. She just let us fly through the station so we shot down a little drop about a foot high and slammed into the first corner. It was fun. :)
It was also Pierres 100th credit.

After this ride everyone left but Jerry, Manda, Pierre, Aiden and myself stayed behind to take photos for the park guide. We still had two tickets left from somewhere so were decided who to send on what to use them up. In the end we all decided to get a couple each and went on the fun house.
It was really cool as it was old fashioned and had lots of cool things. There was one room that we spent ages in where the floor was angled at about 30* but your mind though it was level so you balance was off the whole time. To make it better they had a huge wooden disk in the floor and a rope to hold onto so you could fly round it. Needless to say we all went flying as our balance was all over the place but I think I did pretty well on it. :)

That was the end of the park. We then headed back to the hotel where we soon went out to an amazing pub the Manda had found.
When we left we noticed the cigarette thing was on fire.

The pub was amazing. The drinks were super cheap and the atmosphere was great. I forgot how much I drunk but we were in there till 2:30am. The barman was awesome and after midnight(ish) started giving us drinks for free. That night 6 (I think) lucky members got to see me completely drunk. :) I'll keep all the other photos of us after the drinks on Facebook but they're there if you search.
