Dons 1 Leicester 1, half time.

We have been the better team most of the first half, and we should have scored twice more but excellent defending by Leicester means we are not 3-1 up.

Thank god that Heart FM continued the live footy commentary in Milton Keynes

The referee was a ****ing ****er! 3 decisions today he ****ed up! Last minuite, gives a free-kick to Leicester **** y and the enivatable happened!

I'm an honest person, but the worst refereeing performance I have ever seen, and I've seen many.

We were robbed by the referee.

Still, if that ref does the same decisions throughout all the rest of the games he takes charge of, it will be a whole different table and we might not make it to the Championship.

I woudl not be surprised if he is reported to the FA by Roberto di Matteo.

It doesn't work like that Ciall, any poor performance by a referee is brought to the attention of the FA by the "score out of 100" report submitted by the manager.

If the score is 50 or less then there is a disciplinary, where the FA themselves then decided whether or not it is worth a slap on the wrists or a "relegation" where the ref in question will get demoted a league for his next 2/3 games.

But based on the shocker that the ref from the Dons game just had, then he will probably be punished. Such things only happen when the actions of the referee almost certainly swing the result of the game, which happened today.

First win since the 26th of December and about time. Maybe we won't go down after all.

Eugh, unlike Ciall, I was there. Foobing awful ref, absolutely brilliant performance from the Dons, but the ref was clearly not liking it, so he stopped play for everything in Leicester's favour. When we had a player down after a foul, we had to wait until Leicester had a shot that missed the target, but when Leicester had a player down for no contact, the ref stops play straight away, that and the silly 10 minutes or whatever of 2nd half added time it was mental.

^ Yeah, I know but he's the one who springs to mind because he did it only an hour or so ago.

And why has it transpired that all these "little things" don't matter anymore? It's because the referee's haven't got the balls to stand up to the players and say, "according to the laws of the game that is not allowed, so it doesn't stand" etc.

These things do matter, that is why there are laws in the first place. So I'm sorry but I totally disagree with you there.

No, just annoyed that referee's will not pull up the game for the tiny niggly law infringements (which are quite frankly stupid IMO), but are still infringements nonetheless.

I for one hate cheating. And would rather lose 10 nil through fair play, than 1-0 through foul play, if you see what I mean. :wink:

Yeah, to be fair, the first time I remember seeing someone stop on a penalty run-up was Guillermo Amor when England played Spain in Euro '96, and nothing was said then, the commentary team even commended him for his trickery if I remember correctly.

There's a lot worse things in the modern game than stopping on a penalty run up.

On another note, you can keep injuring Everton players all you want, it seems to help! No Arteta, but we still win 2-0.

Third win on the trot Get in!! First time since the 2006/2007 season.

Another win for Plymouth too! 2-1 against Watford the form team of the division. Now won two on the trot, only bad thing about today was Nottingham Forest, Norwich and Southampton also won today which makes the relegation battle so damn close.
