Blaze should be quiet about the Everton fans cheering last week as I'm sure he did that today whilst watching the game in his house somewhere not near Liverpool (at a guess)

Seemed Palace were crap (again), I personally blame Matt Lawrence for being one of the worst defenders I have ever seen in my 18 years of supporting them... Sigh...

He will either lay low for a bit or spit out more crap about how Everton are a bitter little crappy club that has nothing and all the bull.

Didn't Everton use the liver bird before Liverpool stole it ?.

Actually, I will do neither. The result was correct. We were punished for awfull marking, but controlled most of the ball. We need someone who will run at teams more, we get to within 20-25 yards then get stuck and lose our willingness to get forward.
I actually live very near Liverpool actually, but I did not celebrate any more than a slightly enthusiastic "Yes!". It's not a goal in the last minute of a cup final, theres no need to go mad, we had plenty of time left.
Of course there were celebrations but that was for the goal, not the result, they celebrated the result on Monday, not their goal.
We didn't steal Anfield, Everton left it and John Houlding stayed and founded a new club there.

Whether you agree with me or not usualy, you have to agree the abuse Gerrard got was disgusting. No other club has done it to the level shone in the derby, their fans are disgusting, vile and twisited...and thats just their faces :p Seriously though, they have an evil mentality towards us and abusing a player like that is wrong. Spurs fans were punished for the Cambell abuse, but the again that is worse, I guess. Maybe it doesn't happen around you, but round here there is definately a hatefull relationship.

The abuse that Gerard gets is down to alot of things plus the city rivels will always give more abuse n stuff than any other team will as its a natural rivelry. And with the grounds only haveing a park betwen them it makes it a bigger dark vibe to. Its one of the oldest and well known rivelrys in british football.

I think I know how derby rivalries work, thank you, and I know it would be worse even without the hatred we now have, but it's still wrong, even if he is guilty, but atleast its not as bad as the stuff about his family.

Aponent fans will find and use everything against a player manager or team to intimidate or give a hostile feeling. Nomater what sport it is so dont give me the I know all bull.

I don't give a **** if Gerards guilty or not he is a role model and thus should remeber where he came from and wher he is. I live 5 minuets away from a unibond div 2 team Chorley fc there players aint payed and all the financial backers have pulled out. I did 10 home matches as a magpie (there mascot) so I know what a ****y atmos is fc United of Manchester walked all over us and out numberd the home fans 20x I spent more time getting jeard by there fans than celibrating with the home boys. I still have the chance to be a mascot but with only 160 fans average why should I waist over 2 hours of my time for nothing as its classed as volentry.

So unless you are a player in liverpool or you work in the club dont pull the rank card on me ok kid.

Not for nothing, but people might give you more credence if your spelling & grammar weren't for

Kitsune what were you doing as a magpie? I thought you were a wolf...

Besides, I completely disagree with the whole role model thing, not just in football but in everything. Especially Prince Harry, hes a young lad whos trying to have as much fun as any normal lad his age would do, but because hes a 'role model' he gets ****ing slated for it.
If people were that bothered about him being a 'role model' then they wouldn't ****ing publish stories about him having a good time and twisting it to make him look a ****.

On a side note, FC United of Manchesters fans are ****ing awesome, theres loads of videos of them on youtube, I suggest people to check them out!

Blaze, of course rivalries are blown out of proportion when it comes to abuse, but the guys are professionals, and if you can't ignore the fans, you shouldn't be on tens/hundreds of thousands of pounds a week (they shouldn't be anyway but you know...).
Although I loved Mido telling the Geordies to shut up after he scored (they were pretty much labelling him a terrorist)... again, it was something that went too far
midoDM2608_468x303.jpg

That was ****ing awesome (and the only good memory I have of the lazy ****er at Middlesbrough).

Evidently Blaze hasn't seen Millwall fans...

Palace vs Brighton however is the biggest rivalry I've seen... Never before had I heard the noise from the fans from my house... It was immense...

Don't believe everything you read in the papers, if you are talking about what happened on Saturday.

Benin, you've not seen Portsmouth vs Southampton then? If you think noise is anything to go by...

Lewis knows how bad the rivalry is.

^^Millwall fans are scum, not the first time they've done it, and it won't be the last...

^No I haven't, but I'm only giving examples of my experience... Usually we get punch-ups as well... Everyone does rival-wise...

I always thought the most out-of-control rivalry in English footy was Millwall vs West Ham, especially when the Hammers visit the Den.

The totally over-the-top rivalries are River Plate vs Boca Juniors at La Bombonera in Buenos Aires & even more so Galatasaray vs Fenerbahce at Ali Sami Yen!

I have been to all 3 of these derbys (Merseyside derby at Anfield & Gunners vs Spurs at White Hart Lane as well), but I haven't been to Pompy vs Southampton nor Palace vs Brighton. The Lions vs Hammers was more intense than the games at Anfield or WHL, but the Argentine & Turkish games were beyond comparison.

Evidently not

They are absolutely diabolical at times, aren't they quite frequently banned from having fans at their games as well? Even Rangers vs Celtic appears tame compared to Millwall vs Anyone Else

I think Newcastle & Sunderland share a 'healthy' rivalry.
Theres a bit of banter between us and both clubs, but when they face each other, our rivalries with them is nothing compared to that.
