I've said the phrase in more than one relationship, three I think. Its why i feel no meaning in those words, maybe someone will come along that does deserves those words. My logic on it is I'm not promising something I can't guarantee.

^ Fair enough I guess, but you could meet like 10 people before you eventually find someone worthy, so don't stop treating girls right because of a few failed relationships .

^ Yah but why not take the time to compliment your girlfriend, rather than pissing them off or making them feel bad by pointing out a complete randomer?

I did compliment her though. I often told her how cute she was and how good she looked(on certain days when she looked especially nice). Just because I did one thing doesn't mean I didn't do the other.
