I think it’s no secret that Dreamland Margate is currently struggling. After 2019 being their most successful year to date since the reopening of the reimagined Dreamland, with over 650,000 visitors that year, the pandemic starting in 2020 seemed to send the park to a grinding halt.
You can see...
Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere (I did have a brief look but gave up pretty quickly).
According to RCDB http://rcdb.com/14113.htm it looks like M&D's Pinfari RC40 (previously known as Express/Cobra) is moving to Oakwood (apparently being assembled as of mid-July 2016).
Yay, I...
Just recently found this mounted POV of Manhattan Express/Roller Coaster on Youtube. Looking at it, it still looks monstrously rough, even with the new Premier trains.

Now I know that the coaster has always been horrendously rough, but did the...
Just stumbled across this on RCDB recently. Not huge news, but North Korean parks have always interested me, and I guess it's probably a big deal for them. The park, Rungrado Theme Park, appears to be new, and is now one of four theme parks operating in North Korea (all in Pyongyang, the...
Not huge news, but the little known Japanese ride manufacturer Sansei Yusoki is to invest in S&S Worldwide.

Does anyone know the actual reason why Colossus at Thorpe Park is so rough? Looking at POV videos on Youtube of 10 Inversion Coaster at Chimelong Paradise, it seems a lot smoother than Thorpe's. Is it the trains? The wheels? Just the fact that it's at Thorpe? The age?
Thanks, and all that.
"Is that it?" Was what sprung to mind after riding whatever it was that I just rode. The whole thing seemed a far too short, pretty damn tame and soft. SPOILER ALERT! The whole ride experience seemed to be "You sit down, people shout at you, you go down a bit, you get molested by something, then...
I stumbled across Python on RCDB again recently, and noticed that they've decided to replace the trains, yet again.
So I guess the story goes, it opened with Arrow trains which were replaced with Vekoma trains in the 90s (you know, those horrible, cramped, round things). Then in 2005, they...
Jinling Happy World in China (scheduled to open in 2012) are getting an 11 inversion, sit down looping coaster.
Now, don't get too excited, I can imagine you guys thinking that this is going to be from a large, well established company, like Intamin. Sadly, it's not, it comes from a company...
I was recently editing a video of Flamingoland which I filmed last year and began thinking, I can't be the only one on Coasterforce that makes my own ride and park videos. So I thought that it would be a good idea to create a topic of everyone's recent park and ride videos.
Anyway, I look...
Does anyone have any idea about what has happened to Kumali's second train? The last time I visited Flamingo Land, there was just bits of it lying around on the floor next to the station.
Thanks
Over the years, I've read a few things referring to The Big One's first drop. Most recently something on TPR which said something like "That's where the ghost of the original first drop lives". So my question is, what is the story behind this?
Hello all,
Next week, I'm going to Salou and planning on going to Port Aventura. However, all of the tickets that I have found are for a minimum of 4 days, which seems like a waste since I will be going there for a maximum of 2 days. Do Port Aventura do single day tickets on the door, or...
The last time that I was in Disneyland Paris was in 2008. I'd been there a number of times before hand over the years, so I knew what to expect. Anyway, I went for a ride on Big Thunder Mountain, and noticed a few new anti rollbacks on a couple of the corners. I thought nothing of it really...
I was looking at Pinfari TL-59 rides on RCDB and came across Looping at Karolinelund, and noticed that it has a very different support structure to the normal TL-59s. I just wondered what is the reason for this? And is it a permanent or portable ride?
Okay, recently, coaster related stuff has been building up in my brain.... To the point where I feel like my head's going to explode. I've been meaning to ask a few questions on here for a while, as I usually end up thinking of another question to ask, which immediately pushes a previous...
Ok, there's no denying that Togo made rough and uncomfortable rides, but are there any particular coasters that really stuck out to you, for good reasons?
And are there any that you hate? Sort of favourite best/favourite worst Togo coasters?
:)
I guess it's time to find out just how many coaster enthusiasts like Vekoma. Whenever Vekoma are mentioned by anybody, people usually complain about their roughness, restraints, trains, and the amount of "off the shelf" rides that they have produced.
However, these bad points of past Vekoma...
