Just stumbled across this on RCDB recently. Not huge news, but North Korean parks have always interested me, and I guess it's probably a big deal for them. The park, Rungrado Theme Park, appears to be new, and is now one of four theme parks operating in North Korea (all in Pyongyang, the country's showcase capital). The park is receiving a Zamperla Twister Coaster (420STD) and is a fairly standard looking spinning wild mouse type coaster. http://rcdb.com/10747.htm

The other parks in the area have a total of five coasters from the Imperialist Japanese manufacturer Meisho Amusement Machines, with one SBNO.

The country also has a newly re-vamped park, Kaeson Youth Park. Unlike the others, it doesn't look like a rotting bucket of death. They operate a Zamperla Volare named Inertia Airplane Car. http://rcdb.com/9205.htm

It seems like North Korea is a fan of Zamperla rides, however I'm not sure if Kaeson Youth Park is using genuine flat rides, or Chinese knock-offs...
