When you thought Ryanair were getting bad...

^The thing is, Ryanair already have the absolute maximum number of seats allowed for their aircraft (189 I believe) and the aircraft is not designed for the extra seats. I'm pretty sure it's a breach against rights to HAVE to pay to use the toilet in that confined space, 30,000ft in the air...

When you thought Ryanair were getting bad...

Hem hem. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/travelnews/4861505/Ryanair-may-charge-1-for-toilet-use.html *Yes, I know it's just a publicity stunt but wouldn't surprise me if it does get enforced.

Most Intense Ride/Rollercoaster For Under 1.4m's/54"ers

Technically you could count every coaster in the US and other countries as being under 1.4m as usually the highest height restriction is 54" (1.37m). So that leaves quite a large choice. I'm pretty sure Millennium Force has a 48" height restriction, so judging by the scale of it, that...

GoCompare Advert: Love it or hate it?

I actually don't have a problem with the GoCompare and I actually really like the webuyanycar.com jingle. I agree with Ian that the Compare the Meerkat advert is far more annoying, they've just made it stupid now. If there's an advert I REALLY can't stand it's the ones on E4 with that black...

    Florida's best coaster?

For me at the moment it would be Hulk. It's really a fantastic coaster, very intense and a lot of fun. I haven't been to BGA and I haven't ridden Manta, Everest and Rockit so I can't really say it's the best. If Montu is anything like Alpengeist, I could easily seeing it being the best...

    A good day out

I know it sounds cliché, but as long as I'm at a park with good company then it's bound to be an enjoyable day out. Saying that though, ultimately I'm at a theme park to ride rides, but if it's a park I go to loads then I'd be happy with about 5 or 6. For a park I don't go to often or a park...

    To leave or let die?

I hate these types of questions, just like "the would you kill your best friend to save two others" topic, I'm not going to answer. Especially seeing as the author of the topic hasn't given us his answer anyway.

    The Best Yellow Rollercoaster?

I reckon Kawasemi would probably be the best. The only yellow coaster I've been on that I can think of off the top of my head, is the Loch Ness Monster, which wasn't great. Oh and Silver Bullet too I suppose, which was crap anyway. :P

Thorpe Park or Alton Towers, 2010.

I am... very confused. :? Oh yes and Alton clearly trumps Thorpe in pretty much every single way. Well, except for flat rides and Rush and Detonator are the only spectacular ones at Thorpe anyway. I do quite like Thorpe, however it lacks charm, atmosphere and a trip there is rarely relaxing.

Smells like Teen Spirits trip reports

I think everyone's covered the main details for Alton. I had a lovely day, despite the weather being abysmal and the failure of Alton's Sardine Express meaning I had to leave early. Some memorable moments of the day: - The lonely Japanese enthusiast. - Nic's scream of delight upon seeing...

    BGW Passholder Preview Day PTR

Three things about this TR depress me: 1. Big Bad Wolf is gone 2. Alpengeist has potentially been "neutered". 3. It makes me want to go back to BGW again. :( Nevertheless it looks like you had a great day, I don't know whether I'd agree to riding Nessie at least ten times, not when...

Did Th13teen live up to the hype and your expectations?

I think Alton have really failed with their marketing of the ride. The ride is just not a thrill ride, not in the slightest. Instead they've marketed it as the scariest ride ever blah blah blah and have potentially eliminated the family audience, what Thirteen should be aimed at. I thought...

Have you ever been shat on?

Yes, twice. Once was at Thorpe a couple of years ago, it got me on the shoulders I believe and I think Leigh and Tina were there at the time as well. Second time was in January and it got me on my ear and shoulder. It showed up stupidly well both times on white shirts... I should avoid...
