On and off reports of Lightning Rod downtime. Dollywood was impacted by the same storm surge that also closed Cedar Point on Monday due to electrical line damage. (Pictured below)

The station area and lift/launch look great at night! Does Dollywood close before it goes dark? Night rides must be incredible on this.

Just rode. 3rd tran of the day. Letting ~100 in the queue at a time. Started about noon. Only one train for now, Might run 2 later, wanted to get going earlier

Lots of cameras around. Park reps filming after ride interviews.

Some news crews too. I saw ABC from Knoxville, was told MSNBC as well.


Dollywood PR guy (Pete) was around. Talked a bit when I got off (waiting for interviews).

Hard to say. If so not a big turn out. But before rides started Pete was doing an on camera interview.

Pete was noncommittal, but appeared confident they are close.
