Wodan vs Troy

Wodan is incredible. So fast and just relentless from start to finish, plus the queue line and soundtrack just polish it off so nicely.

Joris is fab too but just lacked the speed and intensity that Wodan gives for me. Wickerman is pants.

Troy is excellent, but I've yet to ride Wodan (hopefully that will change in 5 days time ?) so at the moment I can't really call this one.

Well, my 5 days is up, and I've just rode Wodan. For context, I also happened to ride Troy 2 days ago too.

Troy is marvelous. I really would go as far to say one of GCIs best.

Wodan is their best, though. It's brilliant.

Joris is also very, very good, but not as good as the other two.

Troy is slightly better than Wodan as a ride imo, but I love Wodan's theming.

Ah yes, fair point. Hard to compare a coaster I rode once back in 2012 with two that I've ridden a dozen each times in the last few years.

Yes, Renegade is also good. Mustn't forget!

Both are excellent but Wodan's interaction with the other rides and theming clenches it for me.

Wodan is obviously better themed but I was pretty disappointed by it to be honest.
I prefer Troy and Joris.

They're both fab and omfg Troy at night was a religious experience, but Wodan probably just edges it for me because it's relentless.

I need to do Wodan again because I really wasn't overly-impressed with it, but I'm willing to accept that I didn't catch it at its best based on otherwise very positive opinions.

Until that happens though, I have to go with Troy.
