Eventhough Walibi Belgium opened their last ride in 2003 (I refuse to mention Vertigo), last week sunday, Walibi Belgium had a brand new attraction, being a huge (or small) eyecatcher for a couple of minutes: an exhibitionist.
Last week sunday, a 20-year old student walked around in the park naked. The man was arrested by the police soon, but he declared to the police that he doesn't know what is wrong with showing of his penis at Walibi Belgium.

It certainly is a very unique way to dress up a theme park, but I do think I like it.
Having never been to any Walibi Parks, I can see me liking them, a lot. But on other hand, if you forget about the rebrand, the parks really haven't changed much at all, for like, what, 10 years? So I can also see why the parks get some stick from enthusiasts.

Those trains look **** ing disgusting.
You know when you see those old train carriages that have been dumped in railway sidings for years and covered in s**te graffiti by glue-sniffing 13 year olds? Yeah, they look like that.

Walibi Holland will also be painting Goliath this winter! Don't know if they will have the green/purple scheme or something else! I would say...finally!
Also on the schedule for Walibi Holland is the refurbishment of their bungalowpark, which is known as hell on earth. Point is to create some kind of Walibi Holland Resort, with an all-inclusive formula. It is also rumored and mentioned by Mascha Van Till, general manager of Walibi Holland, that they are also thinking about opening a Dutch version of Aqualibi. Aqualibi is the waterpark at Walibi Belgium and Walibi Sud-Ouest. Next year, Walibi Holland will also open a room for muslim visitors reserved for praying.
Walibi Sud-Ouest is also about to undergo several changes. Number of visitors have increased the past years and that's why CdA is planning to build a hotelcomplex at the park in France. This 5ha hotel will have room for 400 beds and will include indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a spa. Together with external company Menureva, CdA is hoping to open this hotel/resort in 2015-2016. During the following years, Walibi Sud-Ouest will also expand with several brand new rides. Which rides is still a mystery. One of these rides will be a waterride, unique in Europe. This new ride will open in 2015 or 2016.
CdA is also planning on expanding with indoor Walibi and Astérix parks. They also are planning for accomodations to sleep over at the Walibi parks, such as Walibi Belgium. For these indoorparks, CdA is still looking for exact plans and such and they are still looking for locations. Although there are some rumors going around these indoor Walibi and Astérix parks might open in Germany or the UK.
