Definitely vertical. Beyond vertical drops are great too, but there's something great and unique about the vertical drops on a dive machine that you just don't get anywhere else. The pop of ejector going over the top, followed by the sustained floating sensation all the way down is just amazing. Beyond vertical drops abandon that in favour of just chucking you into the restraint and calling it a day.
