"unknown" - relocated Vekoma SLC for La Ronde

Thunderhawk and Great NorEaster were easily the best two I've been on.. and they aren't even in the top 50% of my list. I have yet to experience Flight Deck of course.. unless you count KI.. :P

Next year I get to ride T2, which is one of, if not the most, notorious ones

You'll laugh in amazement at how bad it is. I didn't get much headbanging, but my body got rocked really bad. Myself and Jerry were laughing for the entirety of the ride.

SLCs are fickle rides. You have most of them like Mind Eraser at SFA, which was just ****ing awful. The train was rocking forward and backward through the elements. On the other hand, you can have one like Batman: The Ride at SFMexico where it's smooth with minimal headbanging. La Ronde could build many other types of coasters, but the spot the pieces are at looks very nice.

I found Infusion quite rough to be honest, but it wasn't murder, and it is re-ride-able. Its rougher, yet better than Kumali.

From what I've heard, I'm certainly going to be bracing myself on ElCondor next year!

I have rode Infusion afew times this year its not to bad but sometimes can give u a bad ride.

Best one I've been on was Nasu's F2.
Smooth as butta, and heavily overpadded to accomodate the smaller framed locals.

Most of the ones mentioned as being bad, are. But then again, they pretty much all are pretty horrid.

Worst was Blackout @ Suzuka. Seriously had 2 inches of space between the upstop wheels and the track while in the station.

According to RCDB, I'm up to 17 of the 38 installations, not counting relocated.

I ride 'em for the credit, but I don't know if I've EVER gone back for a reride beside F2.

The only good thing about El Condor is the crazy ride op's because the ride is pretty bad. I only manged a few circuits before it beat me up.

Its a close call between it and MP Express for which was the worst I've done.

While I have only done 1 Vekoma SLC and it was okay, a little rough but still quite enjoyable but nothing compared to a Batman clone which is why this relocation makes no sense.

And I thought the Chang rumour was bad  ...

At least Chang could be replacing an older version.. this is just putting in a absolutely worse ride type which you already have in the park.

Stupid Canadians.

I love how the ad is using every other version of the ride, BUT the one it's coming from.

They even used Geauga Lake's, just showing how much they care about it.

Hahaa, very nice and La Ronde do not belong in the same sentence. That being said, the spot it's being put is easily the best in the park. It's back near Goliath and Dragon, where there is actually, God forbid, some SHADE and TREES!

It'd be sick fi they put Chang in instead, and tore down that piece of crab they call Cobra, but in a way I'm kinda glad they didn't becasue then I'd be mad that I missed out on it yet again :P . With this I'm just like aw crap a missed credit.

Yeah this is most unusual. But could kind of point to the removal of Vampire. Kind of like what BPB done. They can just swap 2 rides around, and thats 2 new attractions!

If Vampire does stay, oh well, its an extra coaster for you peeps to enjoy on your trips there!

Could someone sexy move this to ride construction please? Hell, why not push the boat out and sticky it? ;)

Well, I don't think they're gonna remove Vampire really.. The park is stupid enough, I mean, they don't have any kind of shade, their rides are pretty crap, they don't have awnings on their stations.. So I wouldn't put it past them to install two inverted coasters in the same park.

Seriously though, like someone said, where would they put Vampire? 99.9% of Six Flags parks have one already, but if they do remove it, I'm glad I got a chance to ride it.. Soo smooth, and the trench was awesome, definitely the best clone I've been on anyway.

I, like most other on here, don't see the logic in this. There are very few parks who have two full-circuit Inverted coasters out there (Carowinds being the only one springing to mind, not counting Suspended or Flying coasters), but that's hardly a marketable fact. They are going to need a lot of bells and whistles to be able to brand this one alongside Le Vampire.

^ Yeah, really.. But seriously, I think La Ronde has a fetish for rough coasters.. They have ten coasters, and though I missed out on two, six of the eight I rode were terrible, haha.. So this is probably gonna be another one to add to the list. If anyone wants a headache, go there and ride all the rides. Actually, just go there and ride Le Cobra, and you will be set with a headache for a few days.

Seriously, invest in something smooth or tear down that piece of crap woodie/stand up.
