AHHAA, love the name, wonder what gave you an idea to call it that!

Looks alright, but that gotta be a tiny drop, to be after the top hat, how high is that tophat?

The lift/drop is 160ft, and the tophat is 132ft.

And yes Loefet, there are all green g's :P. And, check your PM's.

I'm having this weird problem on my ride.

At the very bottom of the tophat, I'm getting an acceleration g spike of about 276. Has anyone else ever gotten this?

^No...

I assume you've tried re-starting NL?

Try Improived Friction setting. If not, save the whole track as an element and place it into a new track.

I have been fooling around with a track for a comp at TPR, it's a Premier Shuttle.

What happened to Project Power?
Anyways, it looks great, albeit a tad too white (but it's unfinished, or what?). I know Purple Interstate was two years back, but I think that one was too white as well. Otherwise both projects look fantastic.

^ I'm not in the mood for project power at the moment, so it have to wait.

Changing colors is (usually) one of the last things I do before release. I will probably go with a two tone scheme for the supports :)

I wouldn't have the patience for that kind of support work. But it looks really spectacular. Looking forward to seeing the final layout-- you don't see many Premiers out there.

Yes.

It's actually nothing. It happens all the time when I test an incomplete ride. When the train runs out of track, it stops, and you get the regular CRASH!, usually the stop is instantly, causing a force spike in the acceleration. Finish that section, and it will disappear.

Anyhoo, I'm working on another ride, besides Xcelerator, because I am wanting to work on my handbanking and hand smoothing aspects. Since I'm 23 miles from my home PC (untill tuesday), I don't have a picture right now. I have completed the perfect first drop, the perfect first turns, and the perfect first airtime hill, all handsmoothed. I do have the track file too, so PM me for proof that it is silky smooth :P

I think you guys will like it too. It's kinda like the Tobo Zoo Intamin, but with my personal tastes built right in.

BTW: Perfect=No pumps from the back car, or g-force spikes.

Watch out Crazycoaster. I'm out to get you! :)

Oh and loefet: Not to bring your whole ride crashing down, oh wait!. It won't come crashing down because those supports will be able to support it through a 20.00 earthquake. Might I suggest making those supports a size smaller, or spreading the cross ties out a bit more? I've got nothing against the track, but the supports..........

I still think your coasters will be dodgy ;)

If you have tubes less then size 1 then it would be possible to change them.

Xpress, stop being a noob and get over yourself mate.
It's really no wonder why people don't like you. Get your arse in gear mate and work on your faults before you pick on others.

Got an idea for a new support for the loop so it fits the rest of the design better, and after a quick rebuild the result was 100% better. I also tried to reduce the size 3 supports to a 2, but that ended by really ****ing up the overall design.

Picture later.

Have worked more on Speed Monster, release may be soon!

The Norwegian Loop, with 0G's on the top, and about 5.1 in the bottom, as recommended by loefet.
n1103693098_30027612_1290.jpg

The s-hills, now with green G's nearly everywhere.

The corkscrew, unfortunately with a 2.3 lateral G in the exit. Ideas, anyone?
Most of the ride uses prefab supports, at least for now...

at least for now...

That should change pretty soon. Any coaster should have few, if no, prefabs. Especially a re-creation.

Am I the n00b, or is it you? Really, I haven't seen a coaster from you yet that is up to par. Besides, this is the "Under Construction" forum, where everyone is free to comment about others coasters, thank you very much. Besides, I'm the one who actually knows how to use NL, and all of its tools. And don't give me the crap about tools making NL to easy, because you have to have more brains up there to use 'em, especially FVDs.

Anyways. loefet, I'm looking forward to your new supports. Those ones are way to built up in the picture; surely something would begin to crack, and fall appart because of there being little to no room for flexing when the train screams by.

Pokemaniac - Looks pretty good, but I won't be able to say much more until I can play around with it.

So the rest of us don't?

I ended up redoing all supports, to make them uniform. They didn't take to long to make, since I made a template for the whole structure in Wings3D, so I just had to add support nodes in every junction. 8)
