Tell you what though... as a Brit who's very keen to do more USA travelling, you quickly start to realise that America is a lot bigger than it looks on a map! I mean, yes, we all know it's big, but it's not til you have to start driving across it that you realise just how big... and yep, Branson, Missouri does indeed look like it's miles away from anywhere.
Could be a while before I get round to that one :-(

Orlando (International Drive area) is majorly up there just due to the sheer amount of theme parks, individual attractions, water parks, mini golf and show/theatre attractions it has. I kinda of love how gross it is.

It is and it isn't. Whenever we've organised trips in the past we always work on a 3 hour rule, in that if another park is within a 3 hour radius we'll take it into consideration. Branson/SDC are kind of out of the way, but no more so than if we were to drive to Alton Towers for the day from where we live, so totally doable.

The 6 is SDC, the 7 is Worlds of Fun, the 9 is SFSL. So a few fair sized parks around plus some cool cities to have a look around. It's really not bad at all.

^Stop it - you're all just making me want to go there even more!
I thought I was fairly well clued-up on theme parks but since joining this forum the list of places I have to visit has tripled in length, and now I've got Branson to add to it too.
