Well the amount of investment that is apparently going into this, I'd say that we won't be let down on the theming front... After all, since when did a Eurofighter cost 10 million?

Erol, that money is also for the landfill its not just the cost of the coaster.

Yeh, but still landfill is not going to cost more than £2 million. Which still leaves quite alot left for themeing!

Given the park's most recent efforts, I'm not expecting anything special from the theme. It'll probably be upto the standard of the rest of the park, which is enough to make you believe that you're in a theme park, but not enough to make you believe that you're escaped the real world altogether.

As for the ride itself, I reckon it'll be somewhere between Mystery Mine (average coaster with some great theming) and Speed (no theming, awesome ride).

OMG! Big lump of concrete ;)

Well, I might as well of posted it.... still far from anything interesting!

^It is the station, will have to be quite big to incorporate the zero-G and whatever else they are putting in there.

and OMG! only 4 days to go before we get another crappy youtube vid!!!

i remember thinking exactly that as i was going around the top of Colossus the other day.

How far will the coaster extend out? Will it go around the back of Logger's Leap and the old train shed?

4 lorries filled with Gerstlauer track and supports arrived today! I was there to take photos of them unloading the pieces onto the newly poured foundation base. I will upload more photographs later tonight, but for now:

They guy in the yellow hat is clearly a chav.

However, the track arriving on site now is another large section of the project underway.

And it's so shiny!

Must be the transport section before the station. Well thats all I can think of atm. But its track and better than mud.
Unless the station is curved?

Ultimate jizzum!

Quite definately the biggest update in a single week. I was like "omg they've actually done something this time". I see the station is partly underway, it doesn't look very big though; vertical construction should be very soon hopefully! Watch Thorpe fail though

Another 'OMG! Another speck of dust' time...

Hence the reason i have decided not to read this topic and will wait for opening day till i take interest...

This is probally one of the better photos...

Look at the piece just to the right of the concrete hole... what is that!? It looks sharp!

It will be a nice colour for 2/3 years til it starts to fade ala Oblivion
