This is a thread that might help people planning trips. As a newcomer to the coaster enthusiast community, it feels quite important to me.
Which parks have the best roller-coaster line-ups ? The question is different that "which park is the best" as it focuses only on roller-coasters, with no regard for flat rides, dark rides or park thematisation.
Obviously, several questions arise, as "what makes a good line-up ?" : The number of coasters, their quality, size and fame, is the line-up balanced and well rounded ?
For example, Plopsaland is a small park with only two thrilling coasters (in 2017) but they look like they compliment each other perfectly (the intense launched multi-looper and the fun airtime-filled wooden), and I'm going to check that as soon as Heidi the ride opens (hopefully this very weekend).
Therefore, I would like to know your answers for the following questions:
*Which park has the best line-up in the world ?
*Which park has the best line-up in a given region ?
*Which park has achieved the best line-up with a small number of coasters or limited resources ? Which small/medium size parks are the best rounded overall ?
