It may be a little bit skimpier than I remember, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't until I did GCSE Biology that I learned about cell mutation and its effect on genetics and all that gubbins (I still only have a pretty poor "overview" knowledge of genetic/cell level biology).
So, it's about as much as most 14 year olds would know and understand.
This has skirted it a bit, but I don't want it to turn into an anti-Christian home school is evil type of thing. It's not really about that. It's also really irritating. Do any of you look and say "home schooling teaches people to be stereotypical Christian homophobic racists with a narrow point of view" (which is what the general gist is) without stopping and thinking "the public school system has indoctrinated me with a stereotypic view that all home schooled kids are Christian homophobic racists with a narrow point of view".
There's a lot of pot calling the kettle black here. I'm not saying which is the right or wrong way, just that the people who are saying one thing is narrow minded, seem to be the people coming across as the most narrow minded.
Anyway, I think a demographic of 1 is not a true representation of the entire US home schooled pupils, so CMonster isn't really a pivotal proof in any argument about the US school system
