This sounds awesome!

As cool as DiVertical look, I don't think many parks wants to spend €15 million + on a water coaster, so hopefully well se a smaller more cost efficient layout here, yet still more interesting than the ones from Mack.

^ I agree, I'd love to see a variant of DiVertical. I was never a fan of the layout, especially that massive overkill MCBR.

Here's the official site http://www.xsbnholiday.com/ Its mostly in Chinese but it is possible to navigate (I HATE sites which play music)

Took me a little while to dig out the actual park but if you can click through to the main page with a menu along the bottom its the third from the right.

Areas appear to be
Butterfly Kingdom
Jungle Adventure
Tea Horse Road
Fisherman's Wharf
and a water park.

I've taken screens of the concept art for people who can't be bothered to navigate a Chinese site.

Here's the concept art for the Intamin Water Coaster

Although not actually the same park project. some other little snippets are appearing on the Wanda site at the moment.

Wanda have been chatting to Maurer about new rides for their parks.

If it turns out half as good as it's concept art, it'll be a beautiful park.

Hopefully the news on the Intamin ride is true, and we see a new hydraulic launch coaster.

Really been missing those being built.
On another thought, I sure hope it will be better than the concept art

oddly that models for a different Wanda park than the Intamin.

Another article mentions the Intamin launched coater will be 74m (243ft) tall, launch at 136km/h (84mph) and be over 1500m long.

The Wanda Groups planned parks keep getting more interesting. Their recent document outlining 10 planned coasters mentions that their park in Hefei, China is planned to included a 75mph launched coaster with a loop of 55m.

Wanda group have also created this model for the Hefei park suggesting the ride will similar to Full Throttle at Six Flags Magic Mountain. Which of course was built by Premier.

Interestingly the planned Lewa World park in Xi'an will include a Mack coaster with a loop of 50m. Both of these top Full Throttle's record loop so it will be interesting to see who opens theirs first.

Nanchang-Intamin.jpg

Wanda have released this for the new Intamin coaster at their Nanchang Park. Wanda lists the ride as being the tallest in China which means it has to beat the 250ft of Dinoconda at China Dinosaur park. However RCDB currently lists the ride as 242.8 ft so only time will tell.

Hm. To be honest, the track layout does not look particularly like a Hyper. It has elements normally seen on woodies, though. Plug 'n' Play, anybody? China's tallest Woodie?

^I wouldn't rule out a prefab woodie just because the park is building a GCI. They both offer very different ride experiences and woodies are the hot thing in China right now; what brings the people in.

I'm not saying that it is a woodie. But I agree with Pokemaniac: the layout is very reminiscent of an Intamin plug 'n play!

Re: Planned Wanda Coasters (Flyer, Intamin & Premier Launche

You know what... Sod that :p This is much much more interesting.

I just spilt my Tea in my lap when i found this.

A while back i found a document detailing Wandas planned coasters for their new parks. One of them for the Hefei park seen above seemed a little strange and the translation came out as this

Wanda is located in Hefei City, flip coaster theme park, we used two cars relative sliding, giving passengers the illusion of the two vehicles collided. The highest car segment by segment orbit flip flip flip body 90 °, vertical drop passengers are facing the ground. Features of the roller coaster is: two vehicles collided simulation, train tracks carrying flip 90 °, vertical drop.

I took this to mean dueling zac spins or similar. Anyway I waited to see what became of it.

Today i came across some new artwork for the new Wanda park in Hefei and it shows this...

Correct me if I'm wrong but those are Tilt Coasters right?
Which looking back at that translation makes a lot more sense.

Make of it what you will but this could be massively interesting.

Very nice! Hopefully they don't go knock off company for the tilt.

That layout above certainly doesn't scream 250ft coaster to me, more like 100ft.

I mean, a 250ft turn-around before the first drop? Thats gotta be costly!
