At first I was like, oh god they are ruining Blackpool. But then it occurred to me that they aren't because sponsorship bollocks and ridiculousness is Blackpool.

My main concern is that it'll be all squeeky clean and WRONG!

I hope, even on the day of opening, it's still a bit dirty around the edges - otherwise it just won't fit in!

Ahh. It's one of the smaller Disk'o rides then? Great, the only ride I am looking forward to in this area is the Spongebob ride. I ****ing hate Spongebob!

I think it looks quite good, from the limited amount we've seen. Probably too clean for Neal though :wink: Things in Blackpool get dirty fairly quickly though.

Then again, I've never even been to the place and am only judging by photos, so what do I know? :/

^It's too colourful for Blackpool. But hey, with all the regeneration work going on, maybe it will start to brighten and sparkle the place back up again?

I reckon it all looks good, and I'm glad Blackpool have cleaned up their dirty, nasty creaky beaver area.

If they put the ground works down properly, this could easily be almost as good as Thomas Land (though Drayton went a little more all out I think beyond the rides themselves).

Yeah, it's not for us "enthusiasts", but it's a good looking, bright and clean overhaul for the kids area.

I'm starting to wonder if the next decade will prove to be a sparse one for new coasters, with everyone gamely jumping on the kiddie IP bandwagon, and raking in the pennies, in a way that coasters never quite seem to.

Has anyone been to Nickelodeon Universe here in the US? I plan to go there this summer.
It looks like a lot of fun for kids of all ages.

After doing up beaver creek, I think that pb should think about re-furniatuing all of the park, Build a few new coasters, but is there room? :/

I think that a boomerang coaster would be perfect for pb.

There is room in some places, There's going to be a big empty spot where bling and some of the log flume was for an ok sized coaster.
Apparently it will be made by Mack or Vekoma.

Wow, second all the points on never seeing anything this colourful or child friendly be at Blackpool before!

It's gonna be great, I'm just happy it's going to put the park back on the map again. Next year's such a great year for them to do it to. I think the most they have to compete with is Drayton, and this floor's a crappy Ben 10 coaster.

Great stuff.
