New attractions at Paultons Park

The height restriction for the new coaster will only be 1.2m so I don't think it will be a Stryker.
I don't think that's been confirmed either way other than a reasonable guess.

There is every chance it could be 1.3m which is still very good for a thrill coaster that appeals to all ages.

What inside info do you have? Paultons haven’t confirmed what the attractions will be yet.
As @Coaster Cam has said, we don't even know what rides are going to be in the area yet.

It was confirmed to be 1.2m to staff.

I've had a wonderful day at Paultons Park today with the family. My 4 year-old daughter has passed the 1.0 metre tall mark since our last visit meaning that her entry fee went from £0 to £45 which was painful, but we definitely got our money's worth as she can now go on Velociraptor, Flight of the Pterosaur, and even Storm Chaser, all of which she loved and was actually disappointed that they didn't go upside down (coaster count now 32). My 2 year-old also got his first rides on Dino Chase and loved it so overall I am a very proud Daddy. Anyway, at the risk of this becoming a trip report rather than a construction update, here are a few over-the-fence pics of what's going on:

I didn't go on Cobra as it's the only coaster at the park that my daughter can't go on (so there are SIX that she can. Last week we went to Chessington where there are a grand total of ZERO roller coasters that a 1.0m child can ride!).

Regarding the supports I'm not really sure what I'm looking at to be honest - there are a series of large pads as you can see, much larger than individual coaster footings would usually be. Time will tell I suppose.

Here's the building going up next to Cobra's brake run:

Also a quick look at the former log flume site which has no signs of any work ongoing:

Nothing to report on Ghostly Manor by the way.

Could the footers under Cobra be for a single rail coaster? I've not seen one in real life, so am not sure how big they are. If the ride going there is a coaster, it would make sense that it'd be something quite snaking and agile.

I imagine this is what the Scorpion Express replacement is going to address but it is weird now you point that out!

Exciting to see so much going on under Cobra, interacting with all those supports could be really fun.

In that first photo, this dug up section looks a lot like a course of a water ride like a flume, water coaster or a shoot the chute 🤔

It could be that the two rides they're opening is a coaster and a water ride which could explain why there is only 2 mentioned on that memo posted earlier in this thread.
