Music Recommendations

Good music

I would recomend anything techno at the moment in the charts. For example, Daft Punk - Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger

Check out his version of "In the hall of the mountain king"

I used to be in a band which played a punk cover of that as our opening tune.

Great fun to play on the bass...

Amazing:

UNKLE - End Titles... Stories for Film

Also listen to:

UNKLE - End Titles... Stories for Film (Redux)

Why do I suddenly like Lilly Allen? What is more is that since I recently got Freeview I sometimes stick TMF on and I now like Kelly Clarkson and Taylor Swift. This won't do at all!

You should also check out Girugamesh. They are a JapMetal band.

I know no one actually listens to anyones recommendations, but I felt the need to post this anywhoooo.

The new Kasabian track is on our airwaves, and its absolutely awesome! Proper nuts as well.

There's a link on Youtube, but i'd give it about half an hour before they mute it!

The album's called West Rider Pauper Lunatic Asylum, which is possibly the best album name ever too!

EDIT

Another track i've come across recently that i've been particularly impressed with is La Roux - In For The Kill.

The standout feature straight away is her voice. Its remarkably musical and very unique. The track itself is a pretty standard electronic tune, but with that singing voice, it becomes something much more listenable than it could be and it really stands out. Her voice is pretty much another instrument in the track.

The Skream remix is amazing for that.

Got Fever Ray's selftitled album the other day. It's amazing! It doesn't grab you instantly but you just need to listen and the songs are great.

If you're a fan of The Knife you'd love this. It's Karin's solo work.
