How can you say that Vampire_Freak? Not many people here have ridden Dodonpa or H:XLC so air compressed would get like no votes.

I always thought that sound was the track. Either way its a great sound.

The LIM is the weakest and isn't the most reliable as they burn out. Hydraulic isn't that reliable either though.

I agree with you, the noise is awesome.

Iye, there aren't many things on coasters that spin at nerely 9000rpm at top whack.

If you want to get technical, anyone who has been a space shot tower can say they have ridden a compressed air launch because it is the same thing, just lying on its side.
