I've just noticed how it uses the terrain on some moments of the ride, which I am a fan of.

EDIT:- Offride POV:-
I've also linked this to my post on the previous page.

Here is an interview with Korey Kiepert and Chad Miller of gravity Group from IAAPA. Not really about Kentucky Flyer, but gives a good insight to the company and how they work:-

P.S. Sorry for double posting.

No ****. I was referring to your comment of 'uses the terrain', which infers the current existing terrain at the park, which is next to non-existent.

That raised mound isn't new for this anyway, or is it? Seems a bit odd and a waste to make it for no apparent reason.

So here is the POV released by the park, but oddly enough it differs from the one Gravity Group had on their TV screens at IAAPA, so now I'm unsure on which one's more accurate. I'm saying this one:-
EDIT:- This is actually Airboss' POV that the park is using as their official POV, when the actual official POV is the one from Gravity Group:-

That berm could be for noise reduction or water management. I'm still not completely certain on where this is relative to the surrounding area so I can't make a better suggestion other than "perhaps."

I think the ride is only built on the concrete raft and the mound of mud is just what’s been dug out to cast it, they may take it away later or could just leave it there.

I could have sworn just a couple days ago they were posting photos of the turnaround getting poured. Looks like they're making one final push before the holiday break.
