iSpeed, Intamin LSM coaster for Mirabilandia in 2009

^Says the fanboy.. :p

That NL preview was HORRIBLE. They definitely didn't check that lats..

BUT, it does look ****ing incredible. If I ever get to Italy, definitely a must ride.

Hah, it just shows how bad NL is at real life. NL is awful for actual real life physics, no matter how much the website tries to say it's not :p

This is certainly more impressive than I thought it was going to be. Prior to the video, I wasn't fussed with it at all; but my interest has been officially sparked.

Good show, Mirabilandia, carry on!

I really want to go back there now :(

Should have gone next year, lol. Very good looking ride and long for a launched coaster, anyone have an idea of when construction might start.

Actually, NL is the most accurate coaster simulation out there...
This coaster is just very poorly made, but otherwise NL coasters ride justa like the real ones, you just have to make/ride a good one...

I agree totally the nl preview was just terrible. Just like Farenheit Hershey Park.

I've only just realised, Xcellerator won't have the "only coaster with a top hat to the right" record anymore!

^Actually, those rolls on Maverick are more similar to a 0G roll than anything...
And sources say the whole element (roll-turn-roll) is called a twisted horsehoe roll.

Hmm, does the Superman really count as a tophat to the right? The entrance is straight, and the descent banks just slightly...
I'd count that as a straight tophat.
lol

^Now you've done it. And the "lol" topped it off. *gets popcorn*

But I agree about what has been said so far. Though, I think that video was sligthly sped up, but it still seems very fast-paced. Mirabilandia could have made a fortune on this if the park was easy to find and access...

You are right, those definately are corkscrews. But also, they're not your typical Intamin ones, like on Fahrenheit. They are narrover and higher, and they have a longer leadin, and a shorter roll itself...
And by 0G roll, I was referring to any roll, that has/is supposed to have 0G at the top, and as far as I heard, the rolls on maverick pull around 0G. That might also be completely wrong, I really don't know, I've never ridden it.
That Tatsu wingover really does look similar.

Also, RCDB calls the element on Blue Fira a twisted horsehoe roll...

Actually, it ISN'T the most accurate. The ones which create the nicest simulations is the best. Of course, most people don't have access to that. Hyde.. or someone.. help me out with the name?

And yes, it is very.. VERY poorly made.

I thought it was one of the nicer simulations. At least it was fairly smooth. If it was like Fahrenheit's, the tophat would've been absolutely terrible, as well as the rolls and turns.

It may well be the most accurate sim out there, that still doesn't mean it's any good at real life. If you try and accurately create a coaster using their real life counterpart's stats, NL falls flat on it's face. It's simply no good at creating a real life version of certain coasters.

I know that NL has the ability to import coaster plans for visualising how the coaster'll sit in the land, and I'm willing to bet this is one of those plans. It also might just be sped up. >_>

Well, the latest news on www.miraforever.com says it's going to open in June!
I wonder why so late...
They haven't been doing anything for the last month, maybe even a little longer... They could easily started working on it earlier, and maybe they could even manage to open it on the park opening day...
On the other side, the crowds would than probably be almost non existant and maybe they just want to wait for a time, when there would be more people in the park...
Hmmm...

Anyway, I can't wait to ride it! :D

The POV looks awesome, especially the inversions with the head chopper supports.
Seems like it also has a couple of airtime hills..

Am I right in thinking this is the first ever vertical launch?
It will be great to get a standout Intamin rocket in Europe, something comparable to Maverick and Fahrenheit.

RITA is good, but not great, Stealth is fun but one dimensional and Baco is fun in a boring kind of way apart from the awesome inversion. Speed Monster and Kanonen don't interest me or look all that, and Desert Race is pretty much a RITA clone.

Oh yea, think I was drunk when I wrote that.

It's not a vertical launch,.. it just ascends vertically following the launch.

I just thought of something...
First Intamin with a MCBR?
I mean, real MCBR, not like on Maverick, where it stops you before the launch, a MCBR, like on B&M coasters...
