Great new park plan has come to light

Some things to note. The RMC is gone on the right hand side and you can see part of the layout of the now confirmed GCI.

The Mack Hyper coaster layout on the left over the entrance has much the same shape. A bit more detail can be seen.

More detail in the mine train? coaster at the bottom.

Now for a bit more on the Mack Hyper you can see the first drop and hill on the left here

More can be seem here

Needless to say the Mack is NOT a Flash clone haha

RCDB now lists this park as "Defunct, Uncompleted": https://rcdb.com/18384.htm

Wikipedia claims, frustratingly without a source, that Six Flags pulled out from the project in 2020. This forum thread suggests Sunac took over development and that basically none of the Chinese Six Flags parks are under construction anymore.

Anyway, unless somebody is able to dig up new news, I think we can consider this project dead enough for the stick to be removed.

I think it's dead, along with the Dubai stuff :(

Found this quote on the investor site (emphasis added) from their 2021 Q1 results:
The decrease was also attributable to a $17 million reduction in sponsorship, international agreements, and accommodations revenue, primarily related to the termination of the company’s contracts in China and Dubai in 2020 and 2019, respectively;

EDIT: Did some more digging and ctrl+f'ing and found that the Chinese stuff was killed in February 2020 as a result of Six Flag's partners defaulting on payments.
From the 2020 Q1 results:
During 2019, the company’s partner in China defaulted on its payment obligations to the company. As a result, in February 2020 the company terminated the development agreements. It is unlikely that the company will recognize any revenue or income in 2020 related to the development of parks in China.

This park is very much not dead. However it is no longer Six Flags so I guess a topic name change is in order. When the company with the SF license pulled out Sunac stepped in and this is now known as Hangzhou Bay Sunac Tourism City.

After some modifications to the plans the water park has raced forwards and is now almost complete.

The theme park has also had a load of modification to the plans and will follow after the water park is complete. I saw some art for the park with Sunac Future World branding but that article has since been deleted. The Mack Hyper Coaster was still present, although I believed the GCI woodie has been canned in the rejig.

It’s an Immelman turn, rather than an Immelman Loop.

This seems like such an odd choice of layout to clone?? It’s so spread out and that awkward second lift into the station.

Sorry for the double post, but new concept artwork has been released on the park's official website;

Comparing to previous plans, the GCI does not appear to be present. The Mack Powersplash, Vekoma SFC, and (Mack?) hyper/mega coaster appear to be locked in... plus the formally confirmed Maurer spinning coaster. As mentioned in the post above, there is also a Jinma Rides family coaster completed near the massive ferris wheel that doesn't appear to be seen in this artwork. Therefore, if we judge by this image, we're looking at 5 coasters here.
