Formula 1 2010

Heres the new Renault, which is one of the ugliest F1 cars I've ever seen. They've also confirmed Vitaly Petrov as Kubica's teammate.

^^I think that looks pretty cool, better than last years in my opinion. I love the black stripes at the back and the colour scheme.
 
It's also Renault's proper colours. Patrick obviously doesn't like it because it isn't boring and feederseriesesque. He has - poor taste :p

Which is good - we've not had yellow times for a few seasons to my memory, and if they were all silvery/white etc. that'd make it a LOT more confusing for watching purposes!

Hooray, coloured cars. One thing I've not liked about recent F1 was the silver/blue/whiteness of almost every car apart from Ferrari. We're making a start with yellow Renault. We just need Jaguar and Arrow to come back and add some liveliness.

They can't do that NOW though - not only is it downright unattractive, but we'd get it confused with vivid Renault times, and be back to square one!
There's LOTS of other bright colours left however, if they feel like being more distinctive... but then it might be headachish if it got TOO colourful!
 
New Merc which is illegal and will need to be changed, the tail pipes are sticking out. And it still looks grey lol.

Testing is going on at the moment and MS is about to take to the track, many are expecting a low fuel run from him and the team to get to the top of the standings. So far Massa is fastest but Pedro and Nico are close.
 
The nose on that Mercedes is NOM! Matches Schumacher's chin :lol:

It's rather ugly, but looks great at the same time!

1030: BREAKING NEWS - The Formula 1 Commission, the sport's rule-making body, has voted to change the points system for the second time in two months. It has extended the gap from first to second place to seven points rather than five in an attempt to encourage drivers to race to win (as if they don't already), so the top 10 now goes: 25-18-15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1. How can Mclaren get it wrong 2 years in a row :(

The car is having areo problems and front end problems, with only 14 days of testing this is not looking good.
 
It was Paffett, I expect them to be around a second per lap closer to the pace with Lewis and Jenson. Stop being pessimistic Marc :)
 
Has nothing to do with Paffett its whats being said from the track, they are running with there green paint again to test where it's going wrong.

Test times are all over the place anyway at the moment, Massa done his time on a 4 lap run, lewis on a 15 lap run so they do seem to be on the pace. Guess its just not working 100% as they want lol.

The Sauber is looking good, but are they just running fast to get some money in the team? Again another team doing short runs.

Tbh I am shocked people are doing short runs seeing that for half a race the cars will be heavy. Mclaren, Renault and Williams are testing with heavy loads and long runs. Nico today is doing longer runs and they all seem quite equal.
