First coaster of the year

Shall be at Alton, and most likely will be Nemesis after a go on the new gondolas' of the sky ride.
 
Been done!

Oblivion at Alton, at the beginning of a 7 times run of 'Thank **** you're open my friend!'.

Even Air felt good.

Now it's just a wait until the 29th to get on Nemesis, Rita and explore around her to see what's going down..
 
My first this year was Air and for the first time I tried in the back row and OMG is it different!

Its just so much more intense!

Can't wait to get back on Nemesis. I look forward to it so much!
 
This thread really depresses me.

There is still 2 more months before any parks even consider opening...

First coaster of 2009 came last week in the form of Space Mountain: Mission 2 at DLP.
First credit of the year was the Casey Circus thing, also at DLP. :)
 
Mine was Millennium Coaster at Fantasy Island, my home park. :) It would of been JO if it was open but it's stuck on the cobra roll atm so it was either Millennium or Rhombus Rocket. :lol: But at least I got on it on it's first operational day this year.
 
Everything went as planned on my LA trip & Matterhorn Bobsleds was not only my first coaster of 2009, but also my 200th coaster overall. :--D
