English Football 2009/2010 Season

Wins a win and all that but that was worrying, especialy after Wednesday, when the only highlight was the other team kicking off backwards.
 
I only noticed you post in this topic when Liverpool do well :p

Actually from my point of view it seems I only post when we do bad or when I'm not happy. Which is quite alot these days.

How nasty will Standard Chartered look on our kits? Just what we want after a reccesion-a bank on our shirts. Should be popular.
 
I've got into the football for this season, and what a season for Bournemouth! 7 wins out of 8 games so far, the best start to a season Bournemouth have had since the world war! :lol:

Hopefully we can keep up the momentum and be back in League One by next season. [/being optimistic]
 
More like bollocks, 4 minutes added time and Owen scored 5 and ahalf minutes into it, tossers.

Other than that though it was a good game.
 
If I didn't hate ****ty I'd be raging, but it couldn't have happened against a ****ier team. HAHAHAHA
 
That was a good game but why didn't the blow the whistle on the actual 94th minute!? Not the 96th!?

This always seems to happen when things aren't going Fergusons way.
 
4 mins stopage time plus however much Fergie time is needed.

A few seasons back, against Blackburn, 3 mins were held up, but he went up to the 4th official and made him change it to 4. No prizes for guessing what happened in that extra minute.

Disapointed about the Chavski match, but to be honest, they deserved it more. Babel does not deserve to play, he has NO desire. He has a cheek demanding Benitez to play him more if when he does play he puts no effort in. He jumped out of the way of Yossi's shot when he could have got one back for us.
We lost and have fallen behind again. Not good, but still early doors, could still recover and get top 3. Just. And atleast they kept the plastic flags at home. Because of the 98% of Chavski fans who have only started 'supporting' them in the last 5 years (I didn't make that up, that is a fact!), I hate loosing to them more than United, most of their fans may be from London, and many plastic, but atleast they are not as bad as Chav fans.

Speaking of chavs, anyone seen what Stephen Ireland has done to his cars! I won't put a picture up and force you to throw up (and you will!). Money can't buy taste. Seems that taste is inversely proportional to money.

Anyway, Ryan Giggs has just scored to make it 5-3!
 
Red Scouse haven't replaced Xavi Alonso, and it shows everytime they go out on the pitch. On Sunday they lacked that crucial interplay which helped set up a lot of their chances last year. No-one was kocking those short balls and making the movement in the middle of the park. Their defence is also shaky when they come up against a strong attacking force - Carragher is miles over the hill, and the partnership with Skrtel is not gelling.

There's only so much that Gerrard and Torres can do to keep that team in the top 4 - if Aquilani can't do the business when he's fully fit, Liverpool will miss out on the Champions League.
 
What a very strange goal.

Why didn't they just get rid of it?

More to the point, it should have been a drop ball. It is in the rules of the game that a foreign object can not interfere.
 
Again, posting when you've lost. But what a way of your title hopes ballooning out of control ;)
