English Football 2009/2010 Season

Great result at MK Dons today, made the long coach journey worth it!
Terrible start, but we changed things round a bit in the second half and came off on top, 3-2.
Nice ground too, a lot more impressive from the inside; The outside looks like it's still under construction (which I suppose, technically, it is). And the seats are freakin' padded! Talk about unneccessary luxury!

Loving the Spurs' brilliant start
Shame about Modric's injury though.
Hopefully Defoe the Yiddo will bring us enough goals for a Champions League spot :D

Firstly, we should have won. But we had many defensive errors. Secondly, our ground is still under construction. Phase one has been complete, and the funding has been hit badly by the recession, though once a retailer builds next door and gives us the cash, it should be finished. The stadium is certainly one of the top 5 in the UK, without boasting, and the seats are padded, wide, loads of leg room and nom.

Hope you enjoyed your visit...but we should have had all 3 points...

Had it not been for Smithies in goal for us, I doubt we'd have kept any points; you had 8 shots on target, whereas we had 3, and put all of them away.
I'll admit you played some good football, but we kept backing off your players, that's at least the fault of the Johnson goal.
And no offense, but I wouldn't put it in the top 5 in the UK: maybe when it is finished (from an FA World Cup grant, maybe? You've got to be a contender for one of the competition stadia).

I enjoyed my visit, but that Lancaster Bomber proper **** me up!

^ It is listed on the World Cup shortlist, and it can expand even further, to around 43,044 they predict.

It is almost complete, just a big more cladding and the upper tier need doing. I suspect they could do all that over the summer though, be it this one or the next.

If MK Dons get the World Cup 2018/20 world cup stadium, then Portsmouth must have a ****ing amazing chance! :D

Cheers for the confidence boost ;)

^ Your ground's too big for you! ;)

Interesting game tonight, I'd like to see England win comfotably, but I reckon we'll just edge it 2-1, after being 2-0 up.

At least MK Dons stadium is real, unlike your imaginary stadium :p

Cmon England!

*nods*

I don't want to sound too cocky..... but I think we're in the 2010 World Cup you know
