What's new

English Football 2008/2009 Season

****ing plastic fans.

I hated it when Southampton played Man Utd. in the FA Cup earlier this year, their fans were full of people from the surrounding areas, London with the very occasional Manc.

Well to be honest, the home fans were full of the plastics too.

Fair play to ManU, but I was hoping Villa could pull it off. I would love it if Liverpool could actually take the title, but just a close race would be a win in my book. It would be something if it all came down to the Reds v Spurs game on May 24.

Well after Spurs lost on Saturday, our seasons over. If we had of won I think we could of got Europe but I doubt it now. All I can now hope for is that West Ham slip up and don't get Europe and that Liverpool catch united.

It will do, and Keane will score 92nd minute to stop us winning. We all know that will happen.
To be honest, Utd will already be champions by then, but it will have been good to have given them a fight, just all those stupid draws, if we didnt have them then we would be just a couple games away from champions now...

LOL! That would take the cake.

Woulda, shoulda, coulda...but they're not. So it goes...

All I can say is to our manager is "PUT ****ING GEKAS IN THE ****ING TEAM!", god he may of snubbed a reserve game but come on!! Its not like were riding high in the league, he's probably way better than Nugent, Utaka and ****ing Kanu!

Rant over :p

Yeah if we loose on Saturday i'll just confine for us to go down, since its West Brom.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching Porto go up a goal & then come back to draw level late in the game. Now ManU have it all to do in Portugal. :p

YAY for beige coat man's team :) 2-0 down with 10 men and the final score:

Orient 2 - 2 Leeds :--D

Still 4th then with a game in hand, just hope we don't foob it up, again  And YAY for Porto.

I can't see Liverpool putting three past Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, but you know, stranger things have happened.

Barca are dead certs though.

Mate I watched it on Sky... as a neutral fan I felt the pain, it just looked like your defence didn't bother turning up at all for the first 15-20 mins... fine after that but it was all too late!

Went to this game (supporting Orient) and it was unreal :)

Hopefully Porto and Villereal go through next week !

Yeah, that really annoys me. The defence just stand there half the time and in all honesty, don't look like they have a ****ing clue. Saeijs is the only player in the team who was consistent through out the game and had a couple half chances on goal.

I've not enjoyed seeing the demise of the club I love, I just pray that we don't go out of business or I'm not bothering with football at all. =/.

Nope, but apparently there are 20 serious investors interested, but how many of these will ever put bids in is unknown
